Rolyno’s Original Pizza originally opened in 1972. Our old school pizza follows the same recipes. We are now located inside of Vinny’s Drive Bar @ 707 N. Lynhurst Drive. Same great pizza in a new place. Our new bar offers a full bar, a huge outdoor patio, a driving range and some games. Order carry out or dine in. (21 & older) Curbside available to those under 21.

In town for a short wked Spring Break getaway. We randomly picked a local pizza spot according to Google Reviews. Our first thought was that we would have it delivered, but changed our mind. We opted for pick-up not realizing the distance was a 15 drive…… requiring us to travel a bit. Upon arriving to pick up the order Kathryn was nice and professional, gave us plates and extra salad dressing without a thought. We got the food back so that it could be eaten, only to find hair in the pizza. The chef salad and blt were perfect. I called to inform Kathryn, who moved quickly to accommodate me. Thank you for your assistance and service.

Pizza has a generous amount of cheese and I can taste all the toppings in every bite. I also like that the cheese is covering the toppings, so they didn’t dry out in the oven.

My go to place for pizza. They put a generous amount of cheese, no need to ask for extra cheese here.
Edit: This used to be my favorite pizza, I discovered it maybe a year ago and it was consistently delicious. I haven’t had it for a few months though and this week I ordered one and it was horrible. There was barely any cheese on it and it was all crust! I tried to call and talk to a manager but I was told that they don’t have set schedules for their managers and the person didn’t know when one would be there. I emailed the email address on the website and didn’t get a response. They also charged me 14.70 instead of the 12.95 that I have paid for the last year, even though their website still says 12.95 is the price. I will not order again.

Update: June 2025 – Great deal on pizza & breadsticks. Nice atmosphere inside Vinny’s Drive Bar. //March 2025 – We got food to go for a poker party: extra large pizza, 3 large pizzas, breadsticks, & wings. All the food was excellant, and for a great price – best deal on pizza. Good service taking our order & food was made timely. RECOMMENDED

It was a delicious blast from the past. 40 years ago we lived near W. Washington St in Indy. We moved to southern Indiana for work reasons. While traveling to Brownsburg, we found Rolyno’s had moved to the Avon area. Yummy! Then we couldn’t find it anymore. This past weekend we were in the Indpls. and found Rolyno’s on Lynhurst Dr. while spending Christmas with our children. Still the same amazing pizza we enjoyed 40 years ago. Same delicious sauce, a bunch of cheese, just awesome!! Thank you for helping to make our Christmas packed full of old memories as well as making new ones.

If you love pizza, then I don’t recommend buying any from this particular spot. I ordered a cheese pizza and it was very disappointing. It had an overwhelming flavor of oregano or basil, and sour tomato sauce. The cheese was tasteless and wouldn’t stay on a slice. And the crust tasted like it was made from nothing but flour and water. No salt, sugar, seasoning, or even yeast. The cheese pizza I buy from one of my favorite hometown restaurants in Brooklyn, NY put this to shame. This restaurant should put some passion in making their pizza.

Haven’t had since they moved locations. Use to be my favorite. But this was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Barely any sauce. And breadsticks were over cooked and tasted like they had been laying there all day. Waste of a 20 minute drive. Definitely will not be going back.
