Absolute Fire! A True Hidden Gem

Passing through the area, we almost missed this place — and honestly, that would’ve been a huge mistake. Roll Lee’s Korean Cuisine is an instant favorite. The moment we stepped inside, the aroma alone told us we were about to experience something special.

I ordered the bulgogi bowl, and even though we had already eaten earlier, I still ended up clearing the whole dish. The portion was generous, the price was right, and the flavor? Absolutely incredible. Tender, perfectly seasoned meat and sides that brought everything together — rich, balanced, and unforgettable.

And the vibe? Next level. The K-pop Demon Hunter–style cartoon art on the wall was such a sick touch — creative, bold, and full of personality. It gives the place a unique energy you won’t find anywhere else.

This is the kind of spot that makes you grateful you trusted your gut and stopped in. Roll Lee’s delivers flavor, value, atmosphere, and soul all in one. If you’re anywhere near here, don’t even hesitate. We’ll definitely be coming back.

I don’t like to eat out but since trying Roll Lee’s, I find myself eating here multiple times a week! This is the best food in Ridgecrest. Highly recommend the garlic chicken bowl!

Service was super nice. Food is delicious! They did a cute job converting the shop and have a good assortment of Korean snacks and drinks. I appreciate the website full of photos of each dish and ability to order online for pick up immensely. As others have mentioned, service is a bit slow so I would recommend putting in an online order for pick up so you don’t have to wait 20-30 minutes for the food to be prepared.

My only complaint is they don’t give you enough sauce for the bowls or the kimbap. You have to pay extra for more sauce and the containers are small and filled around 50%. Would appreciate it if they doubled the amount of sauce or at least filled the container completely.

The cucumber salad was delicious! The presentation of the rolls in the carry-out containers make it easy to lift the whole roll out of the box and lay out on a plate. The sauces were fantastic! Not too sweet and not too spicy. The chicken dish was just the right amount of spice. Will definitely try new dishes the next time we go! The Spam Roll is a favorite!

I had pretty high hopes for this place and they were all exceeded. Service was fantastic and the food was better. I could ramble on but really what you need to know is that you should have already ordered instead of waiting to read my review.

Review is mostly about the food.

It was pretty good. The BBQ Bulgolgi Bowl has good portions including BBQ beef, white rice, and some pickled vegetables. For the price it’s not bad. Next time I’ll have to try the Kalbi(spare ribs). So far, I recommend this place.

I really wanted to like this place, and honestly, I still kind of do. I drive by it every day on my way to work and was so excited when I saw the sign go up, wondering when it would finally open. It’s great to have a new Korean spot in the area, and I was hoping it’d be my go-to for a quick kimbap lunch.

The food tastes good, and the staff are genuinely nice. But the prices just don’t match the portions. I paid over $12 for five small pieces of kimbap, and the rice bowl was pretty shallow too. On top of that, my order took over 30 minutes even when I ordered only a single item, which was longer than I expected for a takeout place.

I really want this spot to do well because it has a lot of potential, but I hope they either lower the prices a bit or make the portions bigger. For now, I’d say it’s a solid 3 out of 5.

I give this five stars because the food is very fresh and delicious. Very flavorful and not too spicy for me. My favorites are crab roll, chicken roll, spam roll and not so spicy pork Roll and the Cucumber salad. The prices and the proportions are perfect.

The charcoal-grilled spicy pork bulgogi is what makes this spot a true gem for me—top-notch food, takeout only, and reasonably priced.
