Thank you for making our dinner tonight!
For the nachos- would have been better if there’s more meat. The rice was my favorite among all.
I asked for our drink 3 times before getting it. Overall, it may be good hot? Sauce was tasty, but I wouldn’t wait 30 minutes for sauce.
After a trip to the nearby Walmart, I stopped here for dinner. I had been curious about it since it took the place of the game stop that previously occupied this space. The concept of a restaurant focusing solely on taquitos was interesting. I was thoroughly disappointed by my experience.
When I arrived, there was nobody in line. There was one worker at the fryer, another on the phone, and another one in the back looking through her purse, possibly preparing to leave for the day.
After standing at the counter for close to 5 minutes unacknowledged, someone finally approached me and asked If I was there for pickup. The person helping me seemed somewhat surprised when I said no I was there to dine in.
After waiting approximately 25 minutes for my food, it had finally arrived. There is no guacamole salsa as advertised or depicted in the picture of the food. I was a little disappointed but undeterred. As I went to eat, I noticed that there was insultingly little filling relative to the amount of tortilla. The food was lukewarm and there was an odd pool of grease or some other liquid sitting in the bottom of the tray which I found odd because the taquitos were mostly dry.
The flavor itself wasn’t bad but due to the dryness, I was in desperate need of salsa or something. I walked back up to the counter to see if I could request some but the person working behind the counter seemed oblivious to my presence. She seemed to have more important things to do than help me so I went on without salsa.
Feeling completely underwhelmed and concerned by the lukewarm temperature, and the visible sketchiness of my food, I was completely put off from eating any further. I did not even finish half of my meal. The nicest thing that happened during this experience was being thanked on my way out.
I won’t be coming back but you’re welcome!
In the other hand my experience was good!
Taquitos were yummy! 9/10
Corn in the cob was big and with a lot of cheese and for $5 is worthy! 10/10
The churro dona was too sweet for me but my husband loved it!
First, I tried ordering online and the system was glitching so I called. When the man answered he told me to place an order online. I tried telling him the system was glitching and he placed me on a pretty long hold after sounding inconvenienced.
He took our order, a 5 pack and a 4 pack, sauces on the side rather than on top (for togo). Corn in a cup and two churro donuts.
We got home and NO sauces were in the bag. My husband was pretty irritated so he went back and told them there were no sauces. The employee told him because we asked for them on the side and not on top we had to pay for them. My husband told them we had ordered two times before and never had to pay for the sauces (that are pictured on top). He insisted that because we did not get the sauces on top, we had to pay for them. So we did. I understand paying for extra sauces but paying extra for sauces that come on top?? Especially when getting them “on the side” is an option online.
On top of that our beans were crusted and had clearly been made earlier. The corn and rice had condensation in the cup but were cold and the butter in the corn was not liquid. Very disappointed and my Husband says he refuses to go back due to the customer service at the restaurant.
