Ordered to-go for the first time. We got lots of taquitos (delicious ), guacamole (so good), one churro donut (hubby and I thought it was great!) We also got the rice and beans. Beans are majorly salty. Chef, please seek a therapist. Your food and taste buds improve when you heal your traumas. ❤️‍ Rice wasn’t too bad, not absolutely delicious, but definitely good. The spicy cheesy sauce dripped all over the bag. Whoops! I still tried it though and it was way too spicy for me. (I’ve had therapy so spicy foods tend to be too hot now. My friend just found this out as well. ❤️‍ ) Get the pineapple cream soda! It was so delicious!

Thank you for making our dinner tonight!

Went on a Sunday, tried their Taquitos, nachos, street corn and churro. Tasty food with big portions.
For the nachos- would have been better if there’s more meat. The rice was my favorite among all.

It was our first time here and it was underwhelming. It took almost 30 minutes to get our order. Numbers past us were receiving their orders and an order of 4 and 2 with the box open were on the line for assembly. They kept doing other orders. Our order was that order sitting out and it was cold. Rice cold. Beans we didn’t even try.

I asked for our drink 3 times before getting it. Overall, it may be good hot? Sauce was tasty, but I wouldn’t wait 30 minutes for sauce.

Not Impressed:

After a trip to the nearby Walmart, I stopped here for dinner. I had been curious about it since it took the place of the game stop that previously occupied this space. The concept of a restaurant focusing solely on taquitos was interesting. I was thoroughly disappointed by my experience.

When I arrived, there was nobody in line. There was one worker at the fryer, another on the phone, and another one in the back looking through her purse, possibly preparing to leave for the day.

After standing at the counter for close to 5 minutes unacknowledged, someone finally approached me and asked If I was there for pickup. The person helping me seemed somewhat surprised when I said no I was there to dine in.

After waiting approximately 25 minutes for my food, it had finally arrived. There is no guacamole salsa as advertised or depicted in the picture of the food. I was a little disappointed but undeterred. As I went to eat, I noticed that there was insultingly little filling relative to the amount of tortilla. The food was lukewarm and there was an odd pool of grease or some other liquid sitting in the bottom of the tray which I found odd because the taquitos were mostly dry.

The flavor itself wasn’t bad but due to the dryness, I was in desperate need of salsa or something. I walked back up to the counter to see if I could request some but the person working behind the counter seemed oblivious to my presence. She seemed to have more important things to do than help me so I went on without salsa.

Feeling completely underwhelmed and concerned by the lukewarm temperature, and the visible sketchiness of my food, I was completely put off from eating any further. I did not even finish half of my meal. The nicest thing that happened during this experience was being thanked on my way out.

I won’t be coming back but you’re welcome!

Wow im surprised with the bad reviews…
In the other hand my experience was good!
Taquitos were yummy! 9/10
Corn in the cob was big and with a lot of cheese and for $5 is worthy! 10/10
The churro dona was too sweet for me but my husband loved it!

They messed up my order twice. I will give them credit very friendly staff and it’s good food in all once they do it right however we ordered for three people and they mixed all of them with each other so when we went up to “fix the order” they almost doublicated the same mix up in the first place. Limited seating it’s a pretty small place in general so If you have a bigger family be aware they might not have room to accommodate. Also (tip you don’t have to get the combo they sell you can get the taquitos by themselves) the only reason I say this is because they only show the combos on the menu.

I ordered taquitos with quac, sour cream, and roll em up sauce. Received no sauces. I ordered corn and received two different corns. I called restaurant and was told they couldn’t do anything unless I wanted to come pick up sauces. Duh, I had DoorDash! For the price, not very good. Really poor service.

My family and I took a drive down to Lake Tahoe yesterday. We got hungry, and a friend recommended a place, mentioning that the one in Southern California was excellent. The food was decent, but nothing exceptional. My main issue was that the restaurant seemed to be staffed entirely by teenagers. It took all my patience not to lose my temper. Admittedly, we did have a large order as a family of six, but that doesn’t justify the attitude we received, as if they didn’t have time for us. If they hire new staff or perhaps include an adult supervisor, I might consider stopping by again.

I happened to run into the owner of this franchise location a few weeks ago and told him I’d give the place a try after hearing his story / about the business and food. Finally got a chance to, and didn’t have any particular expectations, but was absolutely blown away. So good! I got taquitos, beans and rice, and elotes. I got all the sauces (on the side). Everything was fantastic. Service was great (though I ordered online in advance), and vibe seemed cool, but I took it to-go and went and ate it at a nearby brewery that didn’t have its own food and tried it with some new beer as well. All around great, and though I’m not in the area often, I’ll for sure be back when I am! Highly recommend!

I have ordered here 3 times. The first time my drink was not given to me. The second time the food was great! Very delicious. Tonight however we introduced our family to Roll em up Taquitos and it was a disaster. Embarrassing for me.

First, I tried ordering online and the system was glitching so I called. When the man answered he told me to place an order online. I tried telling him the system was glitching and he placed me on a pretty long hold after sounding inconvenienced.

He took our order, a 5 pack and a 4 pack, sauces on the side rather than on top (for togo). Corn in a cup and two churro donuts.

We got home and NO sauces were in the bag. My husband was pretty irritated so he went back and told them there were no sauces. The employee told him because we asked for them on the side and not on top we had to pay for them. My husband told them we had ordered two times before and never had to pay for the sauces (that are pictured on top). He insisted that because we did not get the sauces on top, we had to pay for them. So we did. I understand paying for extra sauces but paying extra for sauces that come on top?? Especially when getting them “on the side” is an option online.

On top of that our beans were crusted and had clearly been made earlier. The corn and rice had condensation in the cup but were cold and the butter in the corn was not liquid. Very disappointed and my Husband says he refuses to go back due to the customer service at the restaurant.
