We tried the monster and Golden Tiger rolls. The Monster had really good onion toppings that were crispy and sweet. The Golden Tiger rolls were really tasty. The owner is friendly and a hard worker. You can taste the hard work and expertise he puts in the rolls.

One of the tiniest Japanese restaurants around in a small corner lot shared with other businesses so parking can be tight depending on the time. Their menu includes many delicious Japanese favorites. Udon and yakisoba noodles, teriyaki rice bowls, tempura, sushi and sashimi, many specialty rolls including baked and tempura rolls, appetizers, salads and more. Their rice is cooked perfectly and is delicious! Catering requires 24 hour advance ordering. The owner is friendly and kind.

I came here based on the reviews, also I wanted to support a mom and pop shop like this. The service is great, very friendly and fast, but the food was nothing like the ones described on the reviews. The dining space is clean and neat, but not that large, it’s more of a take out situation.
I ordered a salmon salad and vegetable tempura. I was excited to try it but when I opened the box the salad was drenched in dressing. I couldn’t even taste the lettuce and salmon bc there was so much dressing. I didn’t know that I had to say on the side, I spent $12 on a salad that was mainly dressing. I couldn’t even finish bc of all the dressing. The tempura was mediocre as well. More heavily fried than others I’ve tried, and the batter tasted different somehow. Like not fully tempura.
If I went back I’d give try the sushi next time to see if it would be any different.

I used Postmates to order from this place. It was my 1st time trying their food. The shrimp tempura was delicious as was their orange roll which had salmon and avocado on top of a California roll. I definitely recommend this place.

The Value is also better than the other teriyaki spot. $7 for a bowl and$5-6 for my salmón roll that tasted fresh, fresher than some sushi dedicated spots that I have been to.
Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants. Highly recommend.

It feels like you’re at a little restaurant in Japan. It’s a very relaxing atmosphere and the food is fantastic! I’ve had a lot of teriyaki in my eyes and this one for sure takes the cake. The owner puts a lot of care into his food. I’m definitely coming back here

Honestly, this is my first time here. I Googled sushi near me, and this one had 4.5 rating, so I figured I’d give it a try since my last place no longer carries lobster rolls. This place has it, and I will try it now, lol. The menu looks decent. I ordered 2 lobster rolls, one somerset roll, and an aloha. They gave me 3 California rolls on the side for free. The total came out to $65 and change, not bad, I guess. I live in Lynwood, so it’s nearby, and if it’s really good, I’ll definitely be back. Oh, parking is kinda small here because it’s in a little plaza, so good luck

Name’s not very memorable, but I’ve tried most of the quick serve take out sushi places around this area, and Roll and Teriyaki is THE best in terms of quality and cost, based on my experiences.
Their only flaw is that they don’t automatically give you wasabi and ginger with your rolls (last 2 times I ordered from here) you have to specifically ask for it. Their selection is a little smaller too, as they only have the most popular kinds of sushi, and not the more exotic stuff.
That said, so long as you take advantage of their weekday and weekend specials, they have the best prices in town, and the quality of the food (including the ingredients) are a cut above. There’s less rice and more filling compared to most places, and the seasonings and the preparation are very good.
The parking in this plaza sucks, and it’s usually better to get takeout rather than try to eat in (not much parking and the dining area is small too), but if you’re in the mood for more conventional sushi (not uncommon / eclectic kinds) this is the best place I’ve found. They have the quality of the expensive places, while having the cost of a cheap place.
If you’re curious about this place, and want to try it while it’s still cheap, I’d recommend coming by sooner rather than later, as the quality of the food here is so good, I can only see the prices going up in the future. They beat the pants off of more expensive places, and the quality really is comparable to the fancy sit down restaurants.

Me and my girlfriend did an online pickup order with 6 different rolls and 5 teriyaki chicken bowls. We ordered a fair amount of food and it was ready right away. The food was delicious, and the staff were really friendly. The sushi is very competitively priced. You won’t regret ordering from this spot!
