On 10/8/24, I visited Rolberto’s for the first time. The reviews were bit mixed, but I was optimistic given that there are numerous locations of this business. I ordered the taco plate with just a single taco. The service from the young man at the counter was good. The interior was clean and comfortable. There was a nice salsa bar. My meal looked good, but appearances are deceiving. Both rice and beans were flavorless. The taco meat had a strange texture. It was if it had been boiled. It was flavorless. Despite spending 8+ dollars, after taking a couple of bites, I threw it in the garbage. I don’t know how this business came to have at least four locations, and perhaps the night I ate there was a one off, but given my experience here, I won’t be giving it a second chance..

First timer. I had invited a friend but she couldn’t make it, besides I wanted to try it out first. The menu size was overwhelming so I asked for a suggestion on something for just one person. The cashier suggested the rolled tacos but I had to ask what was in them as she didn’t explain. I think whomever takes orders in the front should be a little more helpful since most people are new and don’t know how things are yet. Plus she wasn’t very friendly they should definitely put someone up there that’s a little more upbeat and doesn’t expect you to know everything. Well, the rolled tacos tasted better than frozen store bought, added lettuce, green sauce and sour cream. I think the taco joint across the street has them beat with these, though. I could always add lettuce and sour cream. However I did enjoy the tiny salsa bar with fresh cucumbers, salsa, and carrots with jalapenos. I didn’t mind the Styrofoam plates and plastic silverware because it’s not a full service restaurant and the prices were okay. The place was very clean. I might return someday for a burrito but we’ll see.

The food here was absolutely fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Every bite tasted homemade and authentic, just the way good Mexican food should. The service was quick and friendly, making the takeout process smooth and easy. The atmosphere felt welcoming, even just stopping in to grab food. You can tell they care about quality and about their customers. Definitely a spot worth coming back to again and again. Highly recommend! ⭐

The food was taken out extremely fast. The person that took our order didn’t seem to care much about anything. I had carne asada tacos w/ rice and beans. My buddy got lengua torta special with fries. The meat and beans seemed old. The gritz i pulled out of my taco was yellowish. At this point I dont even think Gordan Ramsey can save this restaurant.

I ordered the 2 beef taco combo with delivery from Doordash. Good portion sizes. I asked for no cheese, and they followed directions. The food was average, decent. I appreciate the mineral water option. I’m traveling and wanted something sparkling, but I don’t need more sugar with all the road snacks. My only real issue is that the paper takeout container was almost soaked through from the beans.

First time eating there was very good. Had a slight misunderstanding with my order but quickly made it right. More dirty tables than not hence the atmosphere stars being chosen lower. Would recommend and I will be going back

This place is great. Amazing food and excellent prices. I think they are better than Joe’s Fiesta as far as food goes. The restaurant has a fast food restaurant vibe on the inside, which is too bad. If this place had more of a traditional sitdown style restuarant and served alcohol it’d have a line down the street every day.

Im a bit mixed overall. But the quality of food is too inconsistent for me to recommend as a go to location for Mexican food. Ultimately comes down to the Breakfast Burritos. Twice I’ve had it, both times the same issue, undercooked potatoes and bacon. The bacon wasn’t raw just very flimsy. The real culprit that makes it ultimately inedible is raw potatoes. I get it the first time. The place just opened and it can get an early pass from me…. But 8 months later getting the same raw potatoes in inexcusable. The price is good but it’ll never be good enough for inedible food. The other dishes I’ve tried have been good to great.
