Hate to post this. Of all of the Rolberto’s this one has always been our favorite for many years until yesterday. Came in at 6:00 am to get our usual breakfast burrito. The place was a disaster. Looked like a major party was there and no one cleaned up. Trash on floors tables and everything. Salsa bar was absolutely disgusting. The cooks in the back were acting like a party was going on back in the kitchen. Thought about leaving. Should have. The person in charge we are assuming apologized for the mess as he looked embarrassed. We asked for fresh salsa from the kitchen. Person sent out to clean used his bare hands to pick through the different vegetables and reorganize them putting veggies back in the container that were spread all over the counter. Got burrito and left. Started eating burrito and it was gross. Fries ice cold the eggs were raw and runny. We both got sick and threw up our first bite. Will never go back. I hope management reads this. Lost a long time customer.

The chorizo platter was nothing short of exceptional—bursting with flavor and easily the best we’ve ever had. While the cheese enchiladas were tasty, a touch of queso fresco would’ve taken them from “good” to “amazing.” That said, every bite still brought comfort and delight.
Their tortillas? Fresh and heavenly. And the horchata? A perfect balance of sweetness and spice—truly refreshing and delicious.
If you’re in Elko and looking for a fantastic Mexican dining experience, Rolberto’s will surpass your expectations. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great food and warm hospitality!

Came here for a quick bit to eat. Ordered the chicken bacon burrito. It was made fairly quick & decent. The price wasn’t bad either. It was a pretty relaxed atmosphere altogether. If you want a quick meal, I’d come here over some of the fast food locations near by.

I ordered an cheese enchilada, my expectations were not very high considering it was my first time here, my food got to the table, beans and rice were delicious absolutely amazing, then the enchilada was being eaten. I cut into it, the cheese wasn’t melted, the tortilla wasn’t warm, the lettuce was room temperature, the service was amazing but the food wasn’t that great, while still my expectations were low they weren’t that low.

I usually have a good experience here, and get good food. Today was different, we went in to get a taco salad and everything seemed normal, until we got home and opened the box. The entire taco bowl was soaking wet, falling apart and the bottom was filled with some soup type thing. Completely lost my appetite and I couldn’t take another bite..

We went thru drive thru and had ourselves the BEST breakfast burritos! Would recommend everyone to do the same. We are leaving Ely now otherwise we would have come back to try other items on the menu.

One of the worst Chileno burritos I have ever had, it was soggy. It had way too much oil. It was very greasy. I don’t know what happened with this place because they usually have a pride on their burritos lately. They don’t care about quality anymore.

It’s on a constant that we’ll try to order food from there and I’ll try for 20-30 minutes of calling them and their line is always busy. I’ve called before and they answered but put the phone down and forgot I was in the phone. We love the food there but we’re getting really tired of the fact that you can never get ahold of them. The customer service there is some of the worst but they have the good food that makes you keeping going back.
