This place was awesome, seriously! I grew up in California, and for the past fifteen years, I’ve been looking all over the Northwest for Mexican food that’s as good as what we had back home. The carne asada fries and carne asada fries burrito were perfect, and they don’t skimp on the meat. Even though I live an hour away, I’m definitely going back regularly. It’s the best I’ve found in the Northwest after fifteen years here. The customer service was also great—a very nice lady took care of us and gave us all the hot sauce that we could ask for. Great job, Rolberto’s!

Returning to Colorado from Boise this sweet spot came up on Google maps as a great place for our favorite. Roberto’s did not disappoint. My chile relleno made from a fresh roasted poblano pepper was stuffed with cheese, dipped in a fluffy and light egg batter. The cheese enchilada was a classic wrapped in a nice thick and soft but not too soft corn tortilla.

I ordered a shredded beef burrito. Its a great tasting meat with bell peppers and three cheese on a homemade flour tortilla. The beans are great. The rice is so so. Definitely a great hole-in-the wall! Service was super fast.

Carne asada fries were very good as usual but the fish taco was a bit disappointing. It is usually pretty tasty, but this time it was quite dry and had too much lettuce. It had little to no lime juice and mayo so it was basically a dry fish filled with lettuce in a corn tortilla. No Bueno.

Every time I get this, I ask for a burrito. And what i get is a comically large chunk of heaven wrapped in a tortilla. I never rate food places, but this place deserves it. The breakfast burrito is absolutely PHENOMENAL. Whoever made my burrito, thank you, and I love you.

Despite appearing rather ordinary on the outside, the food here is reasonably priced and surprisingly good. I can recommend the chile Colorado, the carnitas, and the Chile Relleno. I like their green salsa too.
Update: their 16-inch Monster Burrito is easily enough to feed two adults. The food is still tasty and the prices are still good. The avocado salsa is delicious. Recommended.

The service is always great, the workers are such a good vibe I love how they play Spanish music and dance and sing it’s always so funny to me, I recommend the hot Cheeto carne asada fries their really delicious
