First time trying food from Uzbekistan. Lamb kebab was AMAZING! Plate full of flavor and tenderness. Lamb shank was wayyyyy too chewy, I wouldn’t get it again. Overall food was pretty good and affordable

The food was great! It was my birthday and service was amazing! Illias made sure everything was good and came frequently to check up on us. We had a group of 5 and everyone got their food at the same time. The Lamb Shish Kebab was my favorite but steak burger and chicken kebab was good as well.

From the moment we walked in, the customer service was outstanding. The staff were attentive, genuinely friendly, and their recommendations were spot-on—every suggestion turned out to be sublime.
I’m usually not a salad person, but the staff encouraged me to try the Rokhat salad, and I’m so glad I did. It was incredibly fresh, with a perfect balance of tanginess and saltiness. Honestly, it was refreshing in the truest sense—it woke up my palate and perfectly prepared me for the main course.
Next, we followed their recommendation and ordered the special grill, and every single item on the plate truly felt special. Even the fries stood out—crispy, flavorful, and clearly made with care (they tasted house-made). The grilled vegetables and rice were exceptional on their own, with a unique, well-seasoned flavor. As a big meat eater, I can confidently say I could’ve skipped the meat and been fully satisfied with just those sides—that’s how good they were.
Now to the star of the show: the BBQ. I came here because I know Uzbek food is something special, and Rokhat Grill absolutely did it justice. The special BBQ platter comes with six different types of skewered meats, and each one was excellent in its own way. People often say to focus on lamb or beef over chicken—but even the chicken was incredibly juicy, tender, and flavorful. The lamb and beef skewers were exactly what you’d hope for: perfectly grilled, rich, and satisfying.
The only regret I have is not coming with a bigger group so I could’ve tried more dishes like samsa and Uzbek pulao—but that just gives me a reason to come back from Houston

This is probably the only Uzbek restaurant close by. All kebab and grill items were delicious. I have always wanted to taste the plov, watching the cooking process on YouTube food bloggers’ channels, and finally was able to, here! Pretty good.

We loved everything we ordered tonight. Unlike frozen or industrially prepared food, this meal tasted genuinely fresh. It wasn’t overly salty, greasy, or saucy, and it didn’t leave that nasty aftertaste you get from some other restaurants. It truly felt like a healthy and delicious meal.

With that being said, let’s talk about what and how to expect this said delicousness….. you WILL get everything ONE by ONE and not altogether when you place the order. Now I understand a minute or two delay getting someone’s meal out to the party, BUT, to have a significant delay of over 20-30 minutes before getting your meal and then your child’s or your partner’s meal is absolutely unacceptable! We were told that’s how it works here and majority of the folks eating here complain about this.

Food is ok. Lamb Kebab was seasoned well, but that was the only good thing here. Ordered avocado salad and ended up getting tomato salad with what looked like avocado puree mixed into it. It was fresh, but can’t eat so much tomato especially Roma tomatoes not cheery tomatoes as was written in the description. Very disappointed.

Rokhat is an Uzbeki restaraunt, so focus on the kebabs (chicken kebab and ground beef kebab) and steaks. Clean tasting meat, big portions, and bang for your buck. A recommended restaurant, great job!

Absolutely amazing food at an unbelievable price ! We were a group of 8 and ordered many items, EVERY item was great ! Casual atmosphere, expect a delay in service if you are going on a weekend, friendly staff though but since they are running short of staff there will be a delay in serving however surprisingly your order will come rather quickly !
