We had to stop in Siler City to repair a part on the car. Unfortunately we got stuck at the repair shop and decided to walk to find something to eat. What I didn’t expect, was to find a little piece of Mexico tucked away in this tiny town. The tacos were some of the best I’ve had, got both the carnitas and the grilled beef. The salsa roja was delicious, and the verde had great flavor that paired well with the tacos. We finished with homemade shortcake cookies that were a perfect end to an otherwise not perfect day.

Food is very good! My husband and I love going here when we have the chance. Their plates are a good portion and delicious, I have yet to try their tacos but my husband loves their carnitas tacos. Desserts are yummy and their breakfast menu looks tempting! The owners and staff are hard working and super nice! I do hope this establishment has much success in the years to come.

The owners were very pleasant and friendly. A good variety of menu choices. There were 6 of us and all were quite pleased. We noted that they had a 100 sanitation rating. The dessert case was very tempting though we resisted today. The paintings were all done by cook/wife and very good.

It was amazing! Food was so tasty. Great sizes and prices. The owner was so kind and respectful. Great food variety. Mexican style. We feel like at home. It is a great place. We can’t wait to go again. I recommend it 100%. Way better than other Mexican restaurants in town. It is a gema hidden in Siler City.

There was a lot of buzz about how great this place is before I stopped in. One night we drove to one of our favorite restaurants only to discover that it was beyond packed, and everywhere nearby was just as bad, so we decided it was a great idea to try this joint out. It’s a different kind of place from the two larger and more polished Mexican restaurants in town; the food is less Americanized and more genuinely Mexican while the signs and paint and slightly crooked paintings on the walls all have the feeling of one person who isn’t a professional decorator but really cares about the place. My significant other described it as “cute.” It definitely is. It’s also clean and surprisingly bright inside due to the near-white tile floor. It’s definitely more of a family restaurant than an intimate one.
I had a burrito with chorizo and beans inside. That was absolutely the best chorizo I’ve ever had. It wasn’t really spicy but it was full of flavor. I’d take it over my country sausage in the morning and that’s saying a lot coming from a born-and-bred Southerner. The owner seems to run the entire front by himself and does so very well. He is very nice and hits that sweet spot of meal service attention where he takes care of you but doesn’t constantly ask if you’re good. The man is a real professional and easy to talk to.
Frankly, I think it’s ridiculous that they aren’t full every night. With such great food and great service, I think I’ll be spending a lot more nights out with the family in one of their seats. Do yourself a favor and give the place a try. It may seem a little eccentric from the outside, but you’ll fall in love with the place faster than you’d ever expect.

Where to start…. I cannot say enough good things about this place. This is my new favorite! The food is perfect. The service is excellent. The place is immaculate. And the owner is so friendly! If you don’t try this place, you’ve really missed out!
