The Roepke family proudly continues the Supper Club tradition in Charlesburg, just south of Chilton, Wisconsin. Our customers rave about juicy, flavorful steaks that are aged and cut in house, tender prime rib served 6 nights a week, an outstanding fish and seafood menu including traditional fish fry, and house favorites like roast duck and coldwater lobster. We also feature traditional German comfort food such as wiener schnitzel, braised pork shank and beef tenderloin tips. We are just a short drive from Green Bay, the Fox Cities, and Sheboygan County – the perfect place to gather with friends and family. Reservations are gladly accepted but not required. The food and services FAR succeeded expectations!! From our bartender to our waitress, the staff and service was amazing. So very kind, polite and down to earth. And the food? The food was phenomenal!! I had ribeye and lobster and the wife had the salmon. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavor was like no other. Hands down one of the best experiences and will most definitely be returning!!

My boyfriend has been telling me about this supper club for about a year. It’s over an hour away so it hasn’t been a convenient drive. Well i can say it is worth the drive. The scenery is beautiful!! The steaks were so tender and juicy that we literally could cut it with our forks!! Yes, I said fork!! Oh and I definitely need to mention…wait for it….a SALAD BAR!! The old fashioned kind with delicious toppings and even liver pate and cheese served with bread sticks!!

Roepke’s is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for great German dishes and classic supper club food. The prices are very good as well as the awesome salad bar. Recommend reservations here as the wait can be long. The highlight definitely is the service and people. Check them out you won’t regret it!!

Had a reservation on Valentine’s Day and everything was superb! The sautéed shrimp was my favorite. It was cooked perfectly and tasted so good! Our waitress Holly was very attentive. We loved the salad bar, especially the liver paste and Kraut. SO GOOD! We will most definitely be back. Thank you for a great date night dinner!

Owned by the Roepke family since 1968, this Supper Club prides themselves on homemade recipes and fresh ingredients. They say the only things that aren’t made in house is the cottage cheese and ranch dressing!
The salad bar has a bunch of things to choose from and you can really see that they strive for fresh and quality options.
The French onion soup…look at that cheese stretch!
The steaks were extremely tender and very very well seasoned.
The scallops were unfortunately rubbery and sandy.
The batter on the haddock was very light and thin but could have used some seasoning due to it being very bland. The fish was cooked well though.
This place was worth the drive and very reasonably priced.
If you don’t like the true Wisconsin experience of sitting around enjoying old fashioned drinks while waiting for your table to be ready, they do accept reservations.

I can’t speak to the quality of the food, because we left. We went on a very busy Friday night and the wait was 1 hour 15 min. First of all, a group of 20 somethings young women cut in front of my 86 year old mother and I before we reached the hostess stand. When we put our name in the hostess asked if we had a reservation, almost insinuating we wouldn’t be seated without it. Their webside does not have a reservation option, nor does it say reservations are recommended. The hostess was rather rude, in my opinion, and took our name, told us it was 1 hour 15 min wait. By that time, my husband was looking for another place to go while we were sitting at the bar. We were greeting by a rather gruff bartender, older gentleman, strike THREE. I have to say, I was really turned off by the vibe, and lack of hospitality. After such disappointment, I was not about to proceed to drop close to $200 on food and cocktails. We just recently moved back to Wisconsin, and were all looking forward to the “super club” experience. Bravo Roepkes, you did a fantastic job letting us down.

Great place. Reasonably priced. Had knob creek old fashions, prime rib, shrimp, salad bar. Everything was excellent. Our server heather was amazing and working hard. Will 100% be back!

It is no wonder they have people willing to wait for a table when they are packed! We made the trip with a group of 8 on a Saturday evening with no reservation (some of us had never been there!). We knew we’d be waiting, but the bartenders were attentive and kept us hydrated while we did. Once we got to our table, we were greeted by a friendly waitress who took our orders and sent us along to the yummy salad bar! I LOVE a good salad bar! After we ate our salads, our meal came timely, and we all enjoyed what we ordered. I would rank that tenderloin in the top 5 I’ve ever had in my life! Excellent service, food, at classic Wisconsin Supper Club atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
