I recently went to this restaurant a couple weeks ago and there’s some things I would Like to share. first, I want say I got the fish fry. It was OK however the coleslaw was very delicious but everything else wasn’t to die for, the atmosphere was pretty OK, the waitresses weren’t mean but they wren’t the nicest. Seemed to be annoyed when we asked for help or anything. The last thing I would like to share which I think is the most important highlight from my dinner is that the waitress accidentally knocked over a utensil from another table and she picked it off of the ground and placed it back onto the table, and that was my sign to never come back because I think that is very unhygienic to do, especially in front of a room full of customers. Overall i would say the food was ok but to know that the waitress does that so casually makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the overall restaurant.

My scallop dinner was cool, at best. Not cold, but definitely barely warm. So was my girlfriend’s chicken dinner. I’ve been wanting to try Rodney’s for a long time. Sadly, it wasn’t very good. The other 4 people in our group didn’t complain, but neither did we. So who knows what they thought. They take reservations for 6 or more people, so at least we didn’t have to wait. The salad was the best part of the meal.

We were in food heaven. I brought my father and brother here for my dad’s early birthday dinner. They are from out of town. We had originally picked a different spot, but the wait was long, so we wound up here, and I’m sooooo happy about it. We had a little bit of everything. Our server was so accommodating with how she brought out our mass amounts of food. The cleanest fried food I’ve ever had. Fresh, full seafood. More seafood than batter. Very flavorful. I picked up a rib and it fell right off the bone. Best crab cake ive had since Maryland. Mostly meat, not filler. We are all happily eating lots of left overs. This is one of my new fav spots when I have visitors. The lake view and breeze as you walk out makes it even more wonderful. Five star food, five star service

Our waitress was absolutely amazing as was the rest of the staff that we could tell, however the food is horrid. Not only was my pastrami sandwich dry, but they put expired meat on it. The potato salad was the worst I’ve ever had. My son salmon was overcooked , dry and flavorless and my husband’s burger was flavorless. If they fix the food this place would be a place I’d want to come back to but don’t think I’m going to get this a second try.

You will luv sitting on the deck facing the water. Great view & feel Sweet potato fries were ok. Just missing brown sugar or cinnamon but still good. The Orleans BBQ shrimp was good. My server wore her smile and had a welcoming disposition. Now I’m heading back to Texas!

Nice place near lake erie in Hamburg, NY. The outside deck is small regarding lake views. Our server was pleasant and personable. Food quality was good and prices fair in todays inflated market. The Fish Fry i seen looked awsome. I doubt you can go wrong here.

Like a light at the end of a dark tunnel, Rodney’s came to the rescue! We initially went for lunch at a very new, trendy new spot on Lakeshore Road. After a 20 minute wait, we were seated. The place was so loud! No band. No loud music. Just loud everything else. People talking, dishes clanking and who knows what else, it was so loud. There’s no way you could carry on a conversation without shouting. So we left right away. Next we tried a popular seafood restaurant nearby and were treated like second-class citizens just by inquiring how long the wait was. Out of there. Rodney’s was almost across the street so we went there. Best idea ever! Our hostess was friendly. Our server was a hoot. Funny, helpful and got everything exactly right. The food was excellent too. A cozy, clean spot right by the lake. I recommend Rodney’s highly.

Looks like a cool spot along the lake to have a bite. I got two fish fry’s for take out. I got one regular fish and one fish fry with the sides I didn’t request. Possibly I got someone elce take out. The fish fry was flavorless. German potato salad kinda sucked and the Mac salad didn’t look very worth the time. I’ll try again some other time
