I was introduced to Rodgers BBQ back in 2003 when I was in the military by a close friend that’s from Mobile, AL. Im out of the military and I now live in McDonough, GA just south of Atlanta, but I’m from Baton Rouge. So everytime I make a trip back home, I make sure to stop at Rodgers on my way back to McDonough.

Delicious bbq! This is the closest I have had to homemade bbq in Mobile AL. The rib plate is more than filling and the sides are good. You have to try the peach cobbler!

One of my salesman said you buy, I fly. From west mobile he said he was going to get fried ribs with sides and peach cobbler from Rodgers. I agreed and DAMN! Didn’t know fried ribs existed, boneless, tender and that southern fried flavor! I’m also a huge critic of bbq sauce. I was impressed, not sweet, not too spicy, just perfect! Had 2 sides both of were good but was hard to follow initially tasting the fried ribs dipped in their BBQ but the peach cobbler!!!! Perfect finish to an amazing lunch today! Compliments of the sales manager @ Palmers Toyota off Schillinger that had a salesman deliver this amazing lunch, do yourself a favor! Go get the fried ribs and peach cobbler ASAP!!!!

Great food! Smoked yet moist with southern sides I was craving (collards, dirty rice, Mac n cheese etc). Brisket and Turkey leg were amazing, they also have smoked burgers.

Delicious food cooked with lots of love from the most beautiful people. The ribs are tender and well seasoned you don’t even need sauce. Do right by your tastebuds and order the sweet potato casserole. I’m sorry I ate the food before taking pictures.
