Have been wanting to go here for ages after my partners mum raving about it and it being her favourite restaurant!
Well she wasn’t wrong at all!
Food was so high quality and made with care and detail to presentation and flavour.
Service was fun and never intrusive.
Will definitely be back!

I had the lunch menu here. It’s good value and of good quality. The duck confit starter was quite special. It’s tender and well seasoned. The cod main course was tasty too, a bit salty but it’s still fine. I got a bit of Spanish vibe from both dishes and I like it. Both dishes tasted quite strong but in a nice way. I like how they tried to blend in different flavour together in one dish. It’s not something you always get in restaurant here.
I also had their peach Bellini and it’s very nice.
Service was okay. Everyone seems busy but not ignorant. Atmosphere was not bad, but kind of expect more elegant vibe as their usual price is quite high.
I will definitely come back if I visit Inverness again and try their a la carte menu too.

Absolutely amazing experience! The staff were warm, attentive, and made the evening feel special from start to finish. The cocktails were fabulous, every single one was delicious and beautifully presented.
The food was truly out of this world, bursting with rich flavors and cooked to perfection. Every dish felt like a celebration in itself.
I celebrated my birthday here and loved every bit of it. From the atmosphere to the service, everything exceeded expectations. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience!

What a wonderful experience! I didn’t realise that they are the culinary stars in town, I looked for an accessible restaurant with good reviews near out hotel then absolutely loved the sound of their (early evening) menu.
I made a note that I was coming in a wheelchair so they could plan where they could best seat me. We were early and given different options. Staff were lovely and chatty. They told us the menu changes every few weeks and you could tell everything was very seasonal. Beautifully presented, I adored my starter and dessert just the combination of flavours and textures a real delight. Honestly one of my highlights of our 5 days in Inverness, how lucky you are!

Stunning. The food was so fresh and it clearly showed in how delicious it was. Lovingly prepares, beautifully presented and fantastic tastes – I was so impressed from my first bite.
This is truly showing Scottish food at its best – fish, beef and venison.
We also were provided with fantastic service. The staff were friendly and attentive. If you’re in Inverness I would highly recommend coming here.

The locals told us this was “the best restaurant in Inverness,” and we can see why. The service, meals, and ambiance were all superb. We went during lunch hour on a week day and didn’t need a reservation, and we left very happy.

We had a wonderful dinner at Rocpool while visiting Inverness. Dinner reservations are a must here. The staff/service and food were all amazing. I split the crab and sweet corn soup with someone and the staff was nice enough to put it into two bowls for us (without us asking for it). For entrees, we had the duck, halibut, and venison, which we were told are the 3 best entrees and they were all delicious. For dessert, we tried the warm lemon meringue pie and twice baked chocolate mousse – again, both were great. I would highly recommend having a meal at Rocpool while in Inverness.

This was an outstanding meal. The crab was lovely – delicate, and well complemented by the green apple pieces underneath. As for the duck – I’m kind of blown away. The basic concept of duck and carrots is extremely Western European, but it had this blend of citrus and Indian spices that created a dish like nothing I’ve ever had before. I like Indian food, but have never really considered it to have attained fine dining quality – this takes those flavours and successfully elevates them to that level. It’s creative and delicious, an absolute home run. The chocolate tart is what it says on the tin – very tasty! The crème fraiche ice cream is a definite improvement on a vanilla for this – the flavours just line up better. The tart paired beautifully with the 20 year old tawny port.
And I’d be remiss not to acknowledge the service. Both of us at the table asked for liquor recommendations (a scotch and the aforementioned port) and both drinks hit it out of the park.

The restaurant was busy with early evening diners and although we were early, we were met with a smile and shown to our table. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the meal, the seafood entrees, the fish mains, followed by Afogato. A bottle of Cremant Rose perfectly complemented our dishes. A superb experience.
