Rocky’s is an absolute gem in downtown Birmingham with some of the best personal pan pizza my mom and i ever had! Love they have thick crust option a lot of places don’t.
Once you get inside have a look at all the pictures, memorabilia and articles of boxers they have up its really cool.
We found this place on our last trip to Birmingham in August 2025 for dr appts and went back last week still just as delicious . The menu has vegaterian options and plenty of meat options and you can also do a choose toppings order that way. All the pizza options are named after famous boxers which I love that!
Next time will definitely try the pasta dishes.
Kitty who works at Rocky’s is so nice and welcoming as is everyone who works there.

Absolutely loved the appetizers—those mozzarella bites were so good, it was hard not to go back for seconds. The pizza impressed too, with a solid crust and super fresh toppings that really hit the spot. The entire staff was friendly and polite, and the service felt genuine. The boxing-themed atmosphere, with its unique photos and decor, made the experience even better. There’s no question about it: a return visit is a must.

I think I have a new fave pizza place. I got the Power Punch, which is loaded with everything: olives, sausage, grilled chicken strips, pepperoni, beef, bacon crumbles, peppers, onions, and tomatoes. It’s like a supreme pizza 10x.
I also got the Evander Holifield, which is my new favorite pizza to eat. So delicious. It has: basil pesto sauce, spinach, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, black olives, garlic, and feta cheese. Chef’s kiss.
The ranch dressing is just as good.
The dough is crispy and good. The pizzas have delicious taste and flavor with a variety of toppings. I’ll definitely be back for more pizza.

I wanted to love this place soooo bad, but the customer service was lacking! We ordered half veggie (for the vegetarian) and half meat (for the meat lover) during brunch hours. The pizza came out all meat. No apologies…no let me comp you…they did remake the pizza, but skimp on the meat toppings until it was hard to tell what was what. Even the waitress (2) was confused. Needless to say, I didn’t eat it … fearful the veggie side would have meat.

Recently moved here trying to find a good pizza place. This was terrible experience. The lady on the phone was rude, seemed like we were inconveniencing her by calling for a pick up order. She told us 20 minutes so I went and picked it up at 20 mins. We live .5 miles away. The food was ice cold and looked old for it to not even be an hour. I’ve worked in the pizza business for 8 years my husband 14 years. This was the worst pizza we have ever gotten

We ended up at Rocky’s tonight because we were craving real pizza and it was the only sit down place open at 11pm on a Monday night. We weren’t sure what to expect, but we were not disappointed! The menu was the most extensive pizza menu I’ve ever seen and they also had other Italian classics, muffalettas, and hoagies. We started with a garden salad and it was just as I hoped it would be — garden mix topped with ranch, croutons, cheese, and red onions. The pizza arrived and they sat it over a little lamp to keep it warm. I personally love finding pizza places that do this. The pizza crust was crispy and chewy all at the same time and the toppings were generous. The sauce was tangy and oddly enough had a spicy taste but didn’t leave a burn. Someone near us ordered Alfredo and garlic bread and it looked amazing as well. Our server was great and he loaded us down with to go drinks when the time came to leave. 10/10 we will be back!

was in the mood for bbq, and as I walked past Rockys I decided to check them out instead. Pizza looked good, so I gave it a try. So glad I did, this was the best pizza I’ve had in quite a long time. They do a really nice thin cracker crust, I paired that with a pesto sauce, extra pepperoni and some anchovies. Audrey talked me into the mozzarella sticks too, which were really good. Overall, great food, great service, Audrey and Khalil were great hosts. Go check them out, I’ll be back next time I’m back in town.

This place is simply amazing! It’s a very small cozy and quaint place with amazing Italian food. The owner used to be a boxer in the whole place is very boxing themed. I found my new favorite place of all time! And it doesn’t hurt that I’m a huge boxing fan to boot. You will not be disappointed with the atmosphere, the service and the food!

WELCOME BACK TO BIRMINGHAM ROCKY’S PIZZA!!!!
I was one of the longtime fans of Rocky’s when it closed several years ago. I was heartbroken to see it go. But it is back and it’s just as good as it ever was. The pizza was amazing, but…..they changed the Italian sausage. It used to be mini Italian sausage meatballs, not sliced off a link of sausage. Not really sure I like the change. It wasn’t bad, it’s actually quite good.
I can’t wait to go back for the lasagna that I’ve missed so much.
The service was good, but it was also a new restaurant that was showing off its newness. I’m glad they kept the classic decor.
