My husband and I went to Rocky’s last month. It is located on Hinckley Reservoir near a campground. We found it with Google maps. There was plenty of parking on the side and in front. They asked us if we had reservations. We did not but they seated us right away. It is advisable to have reservations for better seating. They have seating with a view of the lake.
I ordered the broiled haddock. My husband ordered the stuffed haddock. My meal was very good. My husband did not like the sauce they put over the stuffed haddock. He said it tasted fishy and ruined the meal. All of the other food was very good. I saw other people’s meals coming out and evening looked good. Customers were making comments about how good the food was. Many were regulars.
Our waitress returned at the end of our meal and she asked about his meal and offered us both free dessert.
All of the waitresses were attentive to the customers. Taking plates, offering drink refills or whatever was needed. They clearly worked as a team and it was a nice environment as a result of their team work.
I works recommend this restaurant.

The price is well worth the food greatest food I’ve had in a while. Tastes great is always cooked right never had a bad experience here nice staff even the chefs have great attitudes. Perfect for big family’s or dates with that special someone you’ll find yourself going back trust me worth the trip

Great place up on Hinkley reservoir. It’s almost out of place up there among the campsites. They have a few bars, lots of seats and plenty of outdoor seating. It’s still a bit cold and rainy so we ate inside and enjoyed the food and the modern yet rustic interior. Prices were reasonable and staff was friendly

The view from the inner dining area was nice. Wished it wasn’t hazy so we could have eaten outside. The service was great- from our Host to our waitress, Krista, and her trainee. They were always quick to bring us refills and check up on us. Such nice people! The food was delicious. Highly recommend the bruschetta bread for an appetizer! Already making plans to return sometime for a Sunday brunch. Definitely recommend Rocky’s.

The menu is big with prices a little bit on the higher side. Chicken wings were smaller than I am used to for the price. Add 2 dollars if you want to split sauces on your wings… uggghhh. Pizza was decent. Not very busy but the food took over 20 minutes. The Guinness beer was not poured properly either. Service was a bit slow and we weren’t Checked on. Would we drive and go back, probably not.

I recently visited this establishment and, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The wait time was excessively long, clocking in at 40 minutes before we even received our drinks. When the drinks finally arrived, they were warm and tasted off, particularly the draft beer which had a stale flavor.
The food did not fare any better. Several dishes had a strange, rotten fruit taste, and it was clear that the ingredients were not fresh. Additionally, the food was poorly cooked, with some items arriving undercooked and others overdone.
Overall, this visit left much to be desired. The long wait, subpar drinks, and poorly prepared food make it difficult to recommend this place. I hope they can make significant improvements in the future. Just noticed they even charged me for the warm draft beer that I didn’t drink. Nice touch! (Added receipt) to pictures! Wanted to add a drunk guy came to our table while we were eating to promote a boat party July 4th. It was rude as we were talking but he was cool enough to not to ruin the night. Cheers..

Service has always been great. The hours, new menu, and changes overall are so disappointing. We’ve been coming here for years and now I can say since the kitchen manager has been let go, the food has taken a nose dive and the items on the menu are less and less and our favorites are gone. Sadly we won’t be back.

Traveling thru and popped in here for a quick meal. It ended up being a entire night of drinks and full meal. Started with a dark and stormy with calamari which was delicious. Then moved onto a chicken sandwich . After a few more rounds of drinks, we decided to head out. Great service and food. Plenty of parking

I received a wonderful tasty meal today at this lovely place and i recommend this hidden gem to anyone interested. Lovey atmosphere and excellent food and service. My only complaint would be the temperature inside the restaurant is very cold and it would be great if the heat would be turned up.
