Ah yes, dining here is truly an experience. Who needs forks when you can practice your survival skills? Nothing says “fine dining” like eating chicken and rice with your bare hands while questioning if the chicken is on day three… or day four of its victory lap around the kitchen.
The salad bar? Iconic. One dressing to rule them all. Ranch—or maybe it’s Italian? Hard to tell when it tastes like “mystery #5.” But don’t worry, at least they didn’t overwhelm us with options.
Desserts? Don’t make me laugh. They’ve boldly innovated past cakes, pies, and ice cream into a visionary concept: only muffins. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you’ll be enjoying the same crumbly, slightly stale muffin. Bon appétit.
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to eat in a post-apocalyptic bunker cafeteria, look no further. This is it.

Food served the purpose, the last day of service did not! They had an NCO in there that doesn’t tell the truth. Had been bringing 30 HS Cadets down there for yrs without in incident ! Could the poor service be be blamed on the leadership…..
ABSOLUTELY!!! Training matters in all areas of responsibility! I am a retired Sailor but we all should aspire to be better! Better Comms at the DFAC Req’d.

Supposed to be open at noon but employees decide to not unlock the doors. Most of the drink machines are just water. Chicken and ribs are typically undercooked. They ABSOLUTELY LOVE to be closed all the time. Random weekdays and on the weekends. They don’t care that soldiers have $400 a month taken from them.

I don’t know why they got rid of rocky dfac for this one, and why does 3dsb run it while it’s really only in walking distance from divarty barracks

A lot better than The Outpost, this place actually has food. Even though it was a further drive than The Outpost, it was worth it. Place was very clean. The drink machines need to be fixed though, kept giving me plain seltzer water instead of soda and they never had milk available when I would go.

Brought in a detail over a three week period. Found this to be the worst DFAC I have eaten at. Of our 9 person detail, 6 got sick after one breakfast; 7 of us went to brunch on a Saturday and 4 of us were sick for the rest of the day. I stopped going, along with a few others, but was sent pictures of raw chicken that was served (not undercooked, raw; looked like it was taken out of a pack and put on a plate.) Never again. Not having to pay is not worth the food poisoning.

Spacious and well lighted. The food is awesome most of the time, and the menu is not the same every day.
