The experience overall was ok. I would try it one more time, but was not wowed.
They serve breakfast all day, so I got the corned beef hash, eggs, and hash-browns. It was fine. Nothing special. And bland overall. Hot sauce was necessary.

Stood at hostess stand wanting a table for 6 minutes while seemingly drunk bartender turned around to look at me, then proceeded to ignore me while she talked to a couple sitting down about car maintenance for an uncomfortably long time. A waitress passed me twice with an unhappy look on her face without acknowledging me. I had previously waited outside on the patio for someone to notice me with my dog for ten minutes?! Both doors were open and patio was well lit. Left without anyone helping me. Super weird. Took a photo after I left just so I could show the owner who was standing in proximity of the hostess stand while not acknowledging me. I was already outside the restaurant when I took photo, still shocked. They lost a customer for a reason that is unfortunate. All anyone had to do was say something. Only 4 tables were seated so it wasn’t like they were slammed. 2 bartenders and 2 waiters appeared to be working.

Just stopped in for a quick drink while showing my Mom who is new the area and came upon this great little Cafe Bakery & Bar. Mom had a coffee & lemon square while I enjoyed a Long Island Iced Tea & iced Oatmeal cookie. Great service atmosphere & terrific treats. I look forward to coming back for a real meal as everything on the menu looks wonderful & reasonable! Just FYI, there is a great Cars n Coffee crowd on Saturdays too 9-11. Enjoy!

Such a nice spot. Loved the food, I had the vegetarian Mediterranean omelette and substituted tomatoes for spinach and 10/10 will get that again. The cinnamon rolls are fire just ask for them to be slightly heated. I also tried the fruit tart and it is a whipped cream base not custard making it a bit lighter but no tart taste to it. I am looking forward to trying more pastries next time.

Really enjoy their sandwiches. The Reuben was one of the best I ever had. Great bread with the dark and light rye. They have a full bar and they sell bakery items. They are located at the end of the San Clemente outlets.

The server was distracted.
My bacon was overcooked extra crispy. The toast the same. The sunnyside eggs the albumin edge crispy which means excessive quick heat singed. My guest said that’s the way a lot of people like their breakfast. Not me. Both our kids would say the toast was burnt. Plentiful hash browns but undercooked, the center was just past raw. I ate it all anyways waste not want not just not more.
French toast and a side of sausages. I should have ordered those items, they were not overcooked. In fact the thick stubby sausages I expected the casing to be hard and inside to be raw but surprisingly the saysage was better than expected maybe precooked?
I visited the bakery display and asked a question and I did get a hurried reply but no one asked if I wanted anything..
I can see how this joint might be an appealing restaurant I am just not sure it rubbed me the right way.

The food was great, and the service was even better. Will be going out of my way to come back here. We had just stopped for a quick charge on our way to Venice beach. Ended up staying longer to finish brunch, so worth it!
