Mercer Social House might have just ruined all other restaurants for me.
First, the vibe. Warm, cozy, and basically begging you to stay longer than you planned. Perfect date night spot you won’t want to leave.
The service was amazing – our server Sam was attentive, friendly, and somehow always appeared exactly when we needed something. I’m not saying it was magic, but it felt close.
The chicken sandwich? Life-changing. I’m still thinking about it. And the crème brûlée was so good I briefly considered ordering a second one and pretending it was for someone else. The perfect end to an amazing meal.
Great food, great atmosphere, incredible service. Come hungry and prepare to fall in love.

I recommend! I normally go for brunch with friends or birthday brunch’s on Saturdays. I have never had a bad experience.

All Experiences
Great burger and grilled cheese sandwiches! The Mercer Burger could have used lettuce ta balance all the meat and the bottom of the bun got soggy fast but was very big, great flavor, and great value for what you get, even with the fries upcharge. The pesto grilled cheese was also good. Side veggies were peppery at first but they got us new ones.
The enclosed heated porch was a great way to feel outdoors without being cold so we’ll be back in the dead of winter when we yearn for warmer weather.
All in all outside of a few things, this was great and definitely recommended to try if you haven’t yet. We’ll try the drinks next time as it does look like it’s got a nice bar.

Visited during Cincinnati Chili Week and this is by far THE BEST tasting chili hands down!! It’s a main fixture on the menu, so I’ll definitely be back for more! And Aiman provided friendly, outstanding service as well!! Way to go Mercer Social House!

Fantastic food. Loved when it was Urban so I’m glad the quality has continued to Mercer. We had the mozzarella sticks, French onion soup and the cheeseburgers for brunch. My husband got the ghost pepper cheese on his, and as a spicy connoisseur, he said it had a good kick. Everything was great! We’ll be back!

What a great experience! We had the best waitress who gave wonderful suggestions. The ribs were smoky, so tender, and a half rack was the perfect size. It came with cornbread and a honey butter that was great. Loved the fry sauce! This atmosphere is perfect!!!! Be sure to order soft pretzels bites and beer cheese.

The food was excellent! Lots of flavors and seasoning. Homemade BBQ sauce was great. The ribs were so, so tender! And the BBQ sauce took it up a notch. I had the pork rib grilled cheese and it was amazing. More meat than cheese which many places don’t do. It was awesome!! Negotiator the spicy chicken sandwich and that was fairly spicy and very good. Fresh bread and good breading. Fries were decent. Homemade chips were great! Get the charred asparagus! It’s amazing!!! The pretzel appetizer did not disappoint either, so good! Very good food and great service.

The patio was EXTREMELY loud, the server could barely hear us. The food was fantastic. The chicken dinner was phenomenal!!! The prices were good. The burger was great. The $16.95 burger price should include fries. There is over $1.00 up charge for fries???

We got a burger and the grilled chicken sandwich. Food was hot, good and staff was pleasant and helpful. Saratoga chips and fries were a bit too salty and the men’s restaurant could use some attention.
