When you walk in, the lighting is set to funeral home level – kinda creepy. Anyway, the service was quick and friendly and the food was great (my omelette was huge!). Two detractors that I noticed were 1) the bathroom was disgusting. Almost every hard surface has greasy stains and fingerprints on them. They really need to Clorox that space. 2) They upcharge for using a debit or credit card. This is a pet peev of mine. Businesses should just assume people will use a debit card (probably because of Covid), and just fold the upcharge into the price of the food. It is not necessary to make this apparent when getting the bill. Anyway, if that stuff doesn’t bother you, then this is your place for breakfast.

Good but not great burger. Meatloaf was boring, tasteless. Roll stale. Veggies not good – greasy, off-putting texture. Probably from frozen. Service was ok. But waitress had on a Tshirt with a right-wing extremist slogan promoting violence.

I ordered the country style steak and it looked like Banquet salisbury steak loaded with gravy and the taste was just the same. (The little white pieces are rice). The overall quality of the food was very disappointing. Our waitress was very attentive and had the sweetest personality.

A diner with some atmosphere, cute decor, lovely flowers outside. Our waitress had a bit of an attitude but served us quickly and the food was hot. Usually an extensive menu doesn’t mean great food, but Everything was quite tasty. Chicken livers had a nice wine flavor. Carbonara was light and flavorful. Pasta a bit salty but overall food was delicious. Portions large. Prices great.

Have been here for breakfast and the food and service was great every time.
Tried it for dinner tonight and the service was horrificly slow and the food at best was mediocre.
We waited close to an hour for food that obviously was highly processed and frozen. My kid got the fried chicken sandwich and mcdonald’s has a better one on their value menu. My country fried steak was also processed and frozen ad the gravy was watery and weird.
The broccoli casserole was surprisingly good… But it was room temp at best.
Truly don’t know how this place has such high ratings…

Stopped by while coming through on a road trip. Didn’t disappoint and glad I stopped by. Service was great and great home stlye country dinner.

Food is really good but the portions are a little small for the price. You’re paying roughly $8 for a $4 size cheeseburger and half portion of sides, but it is a very small restaurant. Definitely aimed more towards the senior groups. Very small on the inside. Very limited seating but The service was very quick and the food was very delicious! Highly recommend the fried pickles.
