I ordered the chicken Franchise, I have no words. The chicken was there but the franchise was missing. The sauce looked like dirty water and taste worst than it looked. They forgot to add the garlic and the butter in the recipe. The linguine tastes like cardboard. This is obviously not authentic Italian cooking. I have never been so disappointed. I just throw $19 in the garbage.

This is supposed to be shrimp scampi. Noodles-bland, shrimp- overcooked and bland. I asked for extra sauce and they gave me 2 cups of pasta water. I wish I could give negative zero stars. Don’t sell something if you don’t know how to cook it. Y’all took one of the simplest most flavorful shrimp dishes and turned it into trash. Smh big disappointment.

Nice staff, but the pizza quality is just bad. I like the guys, but the cheese feels cheap. Barely sauce too. Take the cheese off the pizza with a fork or knife and you will see how poor quality it is. They have to do better or one new pizza place close by will take ALL the business.
Please improve ASAP. We prefer to drive now to Maplewood instead of get pizza closer to home

The other day I got, Big Joe’s Pizzeria, for lunch. I ordered 2 Pepperoni Slices & a BBQ Chicken Slice. As a compliment for the crust, I asked for marinara on the side for dipping. Both individual slices were extremely middling. The Pepperoni Slice, being the better of the two, was ok at best. Would try it again. On the other hand one would not be able to tell their, BBQ & their Buffalo Chicken Slices apart. It is because they add either BBQ or Buffalo Sauce to the already prepared chicken slices during the added time of order. I could not highly recommend, Big Joe’s Pizzeria, but if you would like a quick pizza bite while in the Irvington area. Check out, Big Joe’s Pizzeria.

Scrumptious. My personal favorites: pepperoni pizza and the buffalo chicken pizza (not pictured). I’ve also enjoyed their shrimp parm sandwich made with seemed to be colossal shrimp. I took away a star only because it’s not the comfiest eat in place.

I am one of the original customer when Big Joe was alive. I know he is turning over in his grave. To mess up a legacy like this. I stop going to Big Joe’s because the one guy that work at Big Joe’s wouldn’t give me my veggie slice pizza the way Big Joe use to make it for me for over 40 years. I don’t know if his daughter still owns it ,but it’s a change in quality not the same.

Ordering on line, the young lady who answers the phone is very RUDE and needs customer service training. She hung the phone up while I was in midsentence, and when I called back she claimed it was bad connection, someone like myself who has been in Customer Service for more than 25 years, this was very poor and once again rude behavior for someone that deals with your phone service. Good food but not a happy customer this time around!!

Paid $19 For a Meatball Parmesan sandwich.
Arrived over an hour later with no cheese.
I’ve been buying for them for years and the quality of food progressively worse and worse. We need a new pizzeria in town seriously. A little competition might make them step their game up.
