We had an absolute blast last night for Karaoke. A lot of good singers. Drinks were great. Great staff. All around fun bar. We will definitely come back. The DJ was great too for Karaoke.

Me and 10 of my friends went for happy hour on Monday Feb 23rd it says that its from 2 to 6 pm. And the place wasn’t even open it was at 430pm we went after work. I seen 3 or 4 other guest walk up and leave as we were getting in our car. This is crazy.

First time in last night – will NEVER try again.
Husband and I went for dinner and a couple drinks.
Place was way too dark when we arrived around 5. 2 other people were at the bar. Server/bartender was nice. We ordered the Pick 2 appetizer fried mushrooms and fried pickles. We were served 6 small mushrooms and a pile of deep fried idk what! The pickles were like shoe strings – all clumped together. Presentation was just awful. Not appealing at all.
I ordered wings and husband got a burger.
Wings – buffalo- very dry and cold.
Husbands burger was raw- we sent it back and when it came back the bun was saturated in grease. He could literally wring the grease from it. Burger was still raw the second time. A gentleman approached and claimed the inside temp was 180 and it was done. As you can see from the picture it’s still raw. We asked for our check. $60 for a horrible experience! They claim they took the burger off plus $4….not sure that was correct.
Definitely will not be returning.

I will say the drinks were okay Bartender was great for her first day but the rest of it was horrible I pay 17$ for the cheapest dry burger and a plate I got the mexi burger tells you you get a mountain of fries and topped with queso it was sad and the spinach dip was burnt chips and I would call more of a over salted soup not a dip didn’t finish it because it came out ice cold the first time and by the second time it was an hour and a half later ridiculous and you charge 9$ for I would be honest if your a bar have a decent burger at least but I’d say if you must id only stick to the drinks

Rockstar KC is such a fun spot! The food is awesome, their burgers, tacos, and appetizers never disappoint. My teen son is obsessed with the nachos, and he loves that they even have Xboxes to play on! Thursday Ladies Night is always a blast, and the Saturdays I’ve been were just as great. The house DJ, DJ MostWanted, is fantastic, he plays a great variety of music. The bartender and servers have always been so sweet and attentive. The decor and vibe makes you feel like a rockstar! And they have the coolest bathrooms! Definitely one of my new go to places!

I arrived to a very dark room on a Sunday evening a couple weeks ago. It was just so dark, it was more of a bar than a bar and grill. We ordered food, but at 7pm, the bartender said their cook called in so the kitchen was closed.
We asked about their specials and those behind the bar said they didn’t know what the specials were and we should check the website.
We ordered a couple beers and the beer they poured was flat so they said they would change out the keg and give me a new one. About 20 minutes later, we asked if I could just have a can. They gave me a beer on a can.
When we left, they said their register was not working so they gave us a paper bill which was more than we expected. I should have expected the higher charge as they had no idea what the specials were. I will not be returning.

ETA #2: My friend was WITH me, and is within her right to leave her own review. Maybe an apology would better serve you in these cases, instead of your defensive, snide excuses. I left ONE review on Facebook, and this Patti friend of yours created chaos. I’m not the enemy here. I simply was sharing MY experience and was deleted and blocked on a variety of northland eatery pages, by Patti, for it.
ETA: I totally got the wrong day of the week….it was a Sunday, not a Wednesday. That’s on me, and I apologize. But, NOTHING in this review was fabricated. And, yes, Patti St Vincent had me blocked on ALL the Facebook pages.)

The register was not working, and both the manager and bartender had no idea what the specials were for a Wednesday night. We asked for a menu to order food, and they said, with no explanation why, that the kitchen was closed (at 7 pm). There was something wrong with their taps and all of their beer was flat, so we had to get cans (and were charged a higher price than was shown on their Facebook page), and even though there were literally only a handful of people in the place, the service was poor. We were extremely disappointed and will, sadly, not be back.
ETA: They’ve since blocked me from their Facebook page and had me blocked from the KC Northland Eateries Facebook page. Just because of this review. I think that speaks volumes about the type of people who own/work here. If you decide to venture in, I hope your experience was better than ours, but if it’s not, I guess you’d better keep it to yourself.

I went there this past weekend with a girlfriend, this is our new favorite spot, the servers were so welcoming and kind, every single one of them, whether they served us or not!! The drinks seemed fair price and we didn’t order food but definitely will Wednesday when we come for karaoke, we’ve already decided to come back next weekend!! They weren’t kidding when they said there’s TV’s everywhere very very cool! It was so clean and presentation exceeded our expectations!! Will absolutely be coming back!!! I loved playing darts and there were pool tables too! The dance floor with the disco ball AND FOG MACHINES were breathtaking!!! So fun!! They also had cages which was an awesome touch 5 stars in every way possible
