Stopped off here in Bozeman while strolling the downtown area Elk and Bison burgers were sufficient and tasty. Nothing too fancy just a good solid burger. I will say the pickled red onion was a nice touch to the elk burger.

Delicious. Had the truffle shuffle burger. I didn’t taste the truffle, but burger was still delicious. I really love the crisp of the fries. We stopped on the 4th of July. Pretty busy but we were able to sit at the bar. Rockin R has great space in the restaurant. It would be fun to have a birthday party here. My glass was never empty here, great service.

This is an excellent place! We were doing some shopping in Bozeman and decided to turn it into a day drinking trip! The atmosphere of the Rocking R is outstanding. With the garage door up, it opens the bar to the street and it becomes a great hang out. We were there in between meals so we had 3 appetizers, which were all excellent. A few options for beer flights were nicely done and all tasted well. I’m sure the full menu is impressive as well. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to go back next time in Bozeman!

Everyone who works here is like 21 years old and everyone who drinks here is like -19. The bartender served us someone else’s order 3 times until we finally got ours. If you don’t want to be surrounded by bartenders who get your order wrong or servers who are very young and extremely inexperienced in the service industry- avoid. (Edited to be “less insulting” per owners request)

I like the bar and location. Inside is nice with plenty of TVs and pool tables. Nice patio also. The bartenders are nice but really slow. It’s as if this is their first job ever. We waited a while to order and the food took long considering the place wasn’t very busy. The door guy brought us the food. And we needed napkins, ketchup, & silverware so he got that as well because the bartender was talking, flirting, working that tip on the other side of the bar. We got totally ghosted by all the bartenders. I was waiting patiently for another drink but my food was spicy and my drink was empty so I had to shout at the bartenders to come over maybe the manager should help the bartenders out or train them to be more attentive to ALL customers.

Fun atmosphere . Comfortable seating on the patio where you can hear conversation and the music at the same time. Lighting over the bar is awesome. Conveniently located near the Genuine Ice Cream company.

Was so impressed with my server, Althea, tonight. She was so upbeat and positive and seemed to really have good knowledge of her products. She did a great job of maneuvering around the big crowd and got our drinks back to us quickly. Definitely will want to come back in the future to see her smiling face!
