If you want a burger in Alamagordo, this seems to be the way to go. It did feel like the record needle screeched to halt and everyone stared for a moment, but that’s usually a great sign! You fill out a card that builds your meal and turn it in at the register, if it’s for “here” they bring it to you. I wanted to try a lot of things. So our bill was a little high ($69 before tip, for 3 of us). We got fried pickles, jalapeno poppers and extra side of green chili fries and then 3 burger meals. I got the 3/4 lb burger. Meat was fantastic and I requested the perfect toppings, if I do say so myself (ha ha), however I will probably try to 1/2 lb next time, as it was 3 separate 1/3 burgers stacked. If that’s the way you are going to make it, that’s cool, just be sure to slap a piece of cheese between each layer and let people know they’re getting a triple. The fried pickles were spears. Tasted from a box, but fried perfectly. Fried jalapeños, same story (cream cheese), green chili fries def made in house and we all LOVED the burgers.

Took less than 10 minutes to receive my food after ordering. Whole place is clean and people taking the orders were very respectful. I wish more places embody what this place is made of. For a single 1/4 pound burger, fries, and large drink came to $9.95. It was a nice refresher seeing great value at a burger joint like this. Will be back for sure.

Driving through Alamogordo and was in the mood for a burger, so Rockin’ BZ Burgers was one of a few recommended from a few websites. I looked at the photos and we decided to give it a shot. The lady came out from the back and showed us how to order and recommended the CHAMP, a green chile burger. Great recommendation; that burger and the fries were fantastic. If I am ever back through, this burger spot will definitely be a scheduled stop.

An absolute hidden gem! The food was piping hot and fresh full of flavor. There was a bit of a wait but worth every second of it. If you’re looking for a good old fashioned delicious burger this is the place to go.

Prolly the best burger i’ve ever had. Service was phenomenal, I got to chat with the chef / cook for a sec too. Atmosphere was good, but a little “shack” like. All the best food places are a shack / hole in the wall though, embrace the shacks and the shacks shall embrace you.

We were on our way to the White Sands National Monument and needed a quick bite — and we saw all the usual chains for a burger but then spied this little joint busy with cars & trucks which is always a good sign. We were right! Burgers were great and service was friendly. Nothing fancy here — just a great burger made exactly like you want it.

Our favorite burger spot and a must stop anytime we are in the area. Their ordering process is great, just fill out the half sheet of paper by checking the boxes on what you want and how to customize your burger and more. Don’t forget to write your name at the top and pick the box for take out or dine in.

Excellent burgers! Green chili fries and green chili burgers were outstanding! Regular fries and cheese burgers were delicious too. Fast, friendly service with a smile. Will definitely be coming back.
