Rockfish Public House is a restaurant, bar and private event venue. Our focus is to feature premium seafood primarily from the Atlantic Coast and Gulf of Mexico that is wild caught, sustainably harvested and/or farmed in a manner which is good for the environment. We also feature a full service bar including 12 draft beers, most of which are products from local breweries. Upstairs RPH Live features a private event space complete with a full bar. Our mission at Rockfish Public House is to provide the highest quality of food, service and atmosphere possible without compromise.

This was our first time here. My husband had a gift card from 6 years ago that we’ve been meaning to use. So we finally did. Such a nice atmosphere. The food and our drinks were outstanding. What a great happy hour too. Our server Jayden was AMAZING to say the least. Such a friendly outgoing person. She was fun and made our night great. The whole staff were very friendly. Even the guy who I’m assuming maybe works in the kitchen was very helpful. He was bringing in boxes and we couldn’t figure out how to get to the restaurant from the parking garage. The elevators were broken and we were lost . We had a fantastic night. Looking forward to going back. Definitely making sure we get Jayden again .

The calamari was the BEST I’ve ever had and I’ve dined on the Mediterranean! Lightly breaded and tender perfection! The roasted beets sound pedestrian, but were a delicate, flavorful surprise.
The pear salad was great and well-balanced not heavy on the feta as some restaurants try to drown the salad with it.
My daughter-in-law had freshly made lobster roll and while her initial serving was too salty for her taste our waiter quickly returned it for a fresh redo and she was very well pleased with the outcome.
When I return to the area, I’ll be back for more!

Oyster stew was outstanding. Actually tastes like oyster. Had the fried calamari and a side of garlic potatoes. The calamari was fantastic and the dipping sauce was addictive. The garlic potatoes were fine, but completely unnecessary. I took half the calamari and all the potatoes home. Dauntingly big portions. Great service. Love this place.

Really good food, I had the BEST ever rockfish taco and my daughter had good crabcake and dessert were yum!! Clam chowder were heavenly!!!

Rockfish is absolutely amazing. I haven’t had anything off their menu that was not phenomenal. If you want actual good seafood in York this is the place to go. Service has been decent everytime I’ve gone. Certain items also rotate seasonally. Recommend getting reservations at least a day or so in advance. Highly recommend.

Beautiful restaurant but the food was super disappointing. While it is reasonably priced the food lacked flavor and was skimpy on the oyster meat for the sandwich. The Nashville hot chicken was not spicy at all and was just some chicken tenders with some sauce.

Upscale restaurant with great menu! I’ve eaten here a dozen times and it never disappoints. Make sure to try the smash burger topped with crab. Amazing! Get there before six and enjoy half off oysters and some great drink specials.

I hate to leave this review but I’m going to be honest. This Calabrian Shrimp Pasta was TERRIBLE. It literally taste like cardboard. The pesto was only pine nuts, or seemed to be. I’ve never had a pesto so nutty. The shrimp was just a tab bit over cooked but it was fresh. Ordered through UberEats.

Very nice restaurants outside seating was the best. Came here to celebrate my birthday and I loved everything about it. I believe my waiters name was Kasey “I hope that was right” She made me feel warm and welcomed on my birthday. Rockfish was celebrating a birthday as well and they had a lot of drink specials. I order ship for my appetizers and the rockfish and it was really good.

I come to this restaurant often and I love the food. The waiters are great people and my food choices come pretty fast. The drawback is the noise level and closeness of tables. But, that is the atmosphere they are know for so no one should expect anything else. I want to tell you on this review that when you request something they don’t have, they actually listen to you. I am a tea drinker – hot, black tea. I want it after my meal just as most people want coffee. They never had black tea – herbal tea, yes, but that’s not what I want. I would complain to the waiters but when I mentioned this to the waitstaff that handles reservations and seats you, they took care of it. They really did because the next time I was there, I asked for hot, black tea – and they had it! Thank you, Rockfish for listening to me!
