Came to visit San Francisco for a weekend with the kids and wanted to visit a family friendly atmosphere for sushi.
First off, the restaurant has good space for bigger groups of 5-6 people. Loved the rocket delivery; was fun for the kids .
The restaurant was VERY kid friendly. Our 2 year old had a melt down because she wanted to touch the rockets but we didn’t let her. They were so prompt with coming to see if we needed help and provided candy to calm her.
The food was delivered quickly and delicious.
Would definitely recommend.

This place is great. I don’t even know why they have servers. We’ll I understand why they have them. Anyway, service was helpful and on top of it. You order off a tablet at the table and your food arrives on a rocket train to your table. It was way cool. Recommend going just to watch that. They also had vegan rolls and other options for vegan.

Lunch on Sunday last week for party of two. Sashimi was tasty and looked fresh. Love their raw fatty tuna, 4 large slices with each one scored in diamond pattern for better easier enjoyment. Unagi nigiri and toro nigiri were huge, not the typical one bite size. Also had two appetizers, fried calamari and tempura platter but they were a bit too greasy I found. Servers checked in with us several times during our meal and refilled our tea and ginger. Will dine again.

Our experience at Rocket Sushi was wonderful. We ordered the shrimp tempura and the Romeo Juliet roll, both of which were delicious and came in good quantities. The miso soup was tasty and complemented the meal perfectly. The menu offers a huge variety of options, so there’s something for everyone. Service was quick and efficient. The most fun part was the sushi being delivered on a train, which added a unique and entertaining twist to the meal. Overall, Rocket Sushi provides great food and a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!

My favorite place to go for casual sushi! The rolls are always delicious and the experience of the sushi coming out on a rocket is so cute. The staff are always diligent in keeping your drinks full and the table clear of extra dishes. I will say, to either sit on the left side or further back in the restaurant as the front door has problems closing and can be quite chilly when left open. I’ve gotten both dine in and take out from here and have always been pleased with my experience.

Very fresh sushi and friendly staff! I love the fun rocket deliver food. The chef roll is so delicious just by itself! I don’t even need soy or wasabi.
