It’s not often I review anything other than burgers and Mexican food. However, my son insisted on eating at one of our old local haunts. I’ll start with the bad…. Got the BBQ Sandwich lunch special. BBQ came from a tub, tasted like instant mashed potatoes, and the baked beans were from a can. The good news is, it was still good and reasonably priced. Plus, I received a piece of strawberry and chocolate cake, which I enjoyed. My son raved over his Turkey melt and tots. Also, Service was friendly and great. I will definitely come in again, but I’ll have to do the burger next time.

Breakfast was perfect for both of us. Not too busy which was great. Atmosphere was good. Service was good and friendly. Place could use a little refreshing but I loved the place. I would recommend. It’s a small town restaurant with friendly people.

It’s hard to find a good old fashion cafe with great tasting lunch specials, fresh food and smiling faces. People happily bustling around and a simple menu with great tasting entrees.

Tried this place for the first time today and it was excellent! We had the lunch special, fried fish for my husband and baked for me, both were tasty, as were the sides we chose and the fantastic hush puppies! The dessert that came with the meal (banana pudding) was delicious. The ladies were very nice, as was the nice young man who chatted with us about the amazing photo mural and also bussed the table. We can’t wait to come back!

Menu is easy, the smiles are plenty, the ladies all are hard working. The lunch specials are daily, home cooked, like most diners use to be, and very filling. Food is really good, you will not be diappointed.

I’ve eaten breakfast here for years, even before the current owners took over. Food is a good value for the money and tasty. Recently I have gotten breakfast burritos to go with their homemade salsa..delicious. Last Saturday they were out of Bacon and said their truck didn’t come in. I thought that was kind of lame with a Brookshires grocery right down the street. How do you serve breakfast on a Saturday morning without Bacon?

The last we were there, the waiter was Not near as good as our two previous female waitresses. He was mechanical in his actions and did not bring a couple teams asked for, like drawn butter for lobster, so while waiting it got cold I told him not to get it and bring atake home container, never said he was sorry. We are God tppers our tab was 125.00 where we usually tp at least 2 to 25 %, he only got 15 %, His loss, he paid much more attention to the two tables near us. We will be back though and f we get hm again hope we are treated better
