Customer service was really bad, they didn’t even acknowledge us when we walked in or when we were sitting waiting for our food. Our online order wasn’t ready or even started until we walked in (there were no customers & they clearly weren’t busy with other things). The rice was undercooked, the steak was completely overcooked, tough, and black/burnt. If you’re really craving chipotle I would say go to the ones in TO, Moorpark, or Porter Ranch. Those have never let me down like the Simi ones have. It’s unfortunate because it would’ve been nice to have a good, reliable chipotle that was closer to home but I’d rather go to the other ones in different towns to get better quality. I know they just opened a bit ago but I’ve been to other places that have just opened, including other chipotles, and it’s never been this bad.

Although they are fairly new . I can quite say there is bright potential. People just can’t seem to understand masterpieces aren’t built in a day. When I went there was nothing but exceptional service and great taste of food , which every chipotle should deliver but this one stood out to me the most as it is different .

Made an online order that wasn’t ready when I got there, waited an extra 10 minutes beyond the stated time just for them to tell me they hadn’t started it due to missing the rice I ordered waited another 10 minutes for the order to be done. Would have been faster to just order at the counter at any point in the process. Ai customer service on the app just tells you it cant help you no matter what you ask.

Update 01/18/25. I came back against my good judgement. This time there were just out of chicken. When I asked for a bowl with the tortilla on the side I got charged for the tortilla. Even though there is no difference in price between the burrito or the bowl. When I got my tortilla it as inedible. All stuck together. When I asked why it was extra, the cashier said it was good handling cost. That is ridiculous. More money NOT to put it on a burrito. This place is whacked. Don’t come here

Was pretty excited closer to my house than the one up by town center mall. walk in right now one person working food line, manager hiding in back people start coming in 15 deep nobody comes to assist all the metal tins of food are empty or half empty!!!!!!!!! Just no CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALLL!!!!! Food was cold never going back!
