We celebrated our Galentine’s brunch at Rock the Dock, and it could not have been a better choice. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was lively, upbeat, and perfect for a fun get-together with friends. One thing we love is that Rock the Dock is 21+ only, which really creates a relaxed, adult-friendly vibe that’s perfect for brunch with the girls.
A helpful tip for first-timers: parking for Rock the Dock is only permitted in the yellow-lined spaces, so be sure to park within those designated areas to avoid any issues.
Jamie was our server, and she truly made the experience exceptional. She was warm, friendly, and genuinely engaging from the start. Even with a full restaurant and what looked like a very busy shift, she never seemed rushed when she was at our table. She took the time to answer questions, make recommendations, and check in on us. Her professionalism and positive energy elevated the entire brunch.
It’s not easy to provide attentive, personalized service when a restaurant is packed, but Jamie handled it effortlessly. She made us feel like she wasn’t busy and we werea priority, and that kind of hospitality makes all the difference. Our drinks stayed filled, our food came out promptly, and everything was handled with a smile.
We already love Rock the Dock for its great food, fun vibe, and adults-only atmosphere, but outstanding service like Jamie’s is what truly keeps us coming back. She made our Galentine’s celebration feel special, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

I just got into town and had an afternoon to burn before work. I wanted a waterfront environment and somewhere that had fresh clam chowder. This is such a neat place. The food was great and the service was just perfect. These are the kinds of places I love finding in my travels.

Maybe it was the time I showed up, maybe not. The food was sub par for the price, fried zucchini was indeed fried but not drained and was so greasy and squishy. The Dock Street fish and chips (I ordered panko bread crumbs instead of beer batter since that was how zucchini was made) were a solid 7/10 because the tots were good. I was allowed to have my dog on the patio but the waitress didn’t even offer to wipe off the seat or table(surprise..it had just rained) or open the umbrella(since we’re in Washington and sometimes the sun does show up like today). A plus that the waitress did check on me often even though I was the only person outside. Ordered the “bacon bowl” for my dog and it was indeed…bacon. With a side of dog treat. I don’t know, maybe I was expecting too much based on the reviews, needless to say, as much as I wanted to make this one of my haunts..I will not be back. Oh..the beer was great because it was cold and in a bottle

Good place good music. They let our dogs in. Dogs are allowed on the deck. Which is very convenient and awesome. Waitress was awesome. Everyone around us was friendly. Would definitely come back for a cheap easy meal.

Wonderful place to bring your pup! And great food and drinks. Staff is so dog friendly, it’s wonderful. Don’t worry about bringing your own dog bowl for water, they will provide. Also there is a long deck if you sit outside you can stroll with your dogs along! I recommend their honey mustard on anything. So good!

I came in on a boat and went to Rock the Dock for a couple of brews. It is a good place to stop. Staff was friendly and attentive.
There was a theme going on with a DJ and bingo. Some of the locals were friendly and shared the beef sticks they just won. I never had that brand and it’s was good.
I will return next time I bring the boat back to Tacoma or even driving.

Nice place with great staff, above average food and great views. Burger was generous and tots were hot. Seafood Louis was very fresh and delicious. Pull tabs and shuffleboard on site. Wonderful location right by the water.

Always a good time here. They got a new menu which has a lot more options it seemed like. Love that the patio accepts dogs and has dog menu items. We got the dog the chicken dinner. I had the mother Clucker and I’d definitely eat it again. I always see/hear people ordering specific tap beers but have never ordered one myself. 10/10 recommend people to try this place.
