The sushi, service, and views were amazing! We ordered an appetizer sampler, sunset strip roll, VIP roll (no jalapeños), and volcano roll. Everything was delicious and staff constantly checked on us. I would come here again and again if I could!

Had this place twice during the Essence Festival and let me tell you that they didn’t disappoint. I’ve been eating sushi for decades from all different parts of the country and I can undeniably say this is the best sushi I’ve ever had. One of the best parts is that my sushi was curated by a strong Black Woman! My only disappointment is that I live on the east coast and cannot come here every day. Stellar in every aspect.

They have delicious maki rolls. Atmosphere is nice. It’s clean. Server and chef were friendly with a nice view of the Mississippi River. We had their green room roll, abbey road roll, and prima donna roll. Everything was phenomenal! Of note, if you don’t like rice, their rolls are super stuffed with rice. Also we didn’t see any sashimi options but might have just missed it.

This is a small sushi place located within the outlet mall. As mentioned in other reviews, one person was doing nearly everything. When I went it was a woman who was taking and serving in-person and to-go orders, seating people, cleaning tables and getting drinks. That’s a lot for anyone to expect of one person, but she did it without complaints and was pleasant though it all. The kitchen staff was extremely supportive and helped keep things going smoothly as well. And considering that they were regularly sending out food that looked delicious; they’re worth commending as well. Can recommend the Tonkatsu, crunchy shrimp roll and salmon roll (not the actual names but what I can remember). Another plus is that you can customize any roll.

I went on a visit to New Orleans. My friends and I decided to go to Rock n Roll Sushi to eat an early dinner. Our server’s parents are vegan, so our server was very familiar with veganism and went out of her way to help me out. The cook was also very familiar with my way of eating. They were very accommodating! I enjoyed my meal there and would love to go back.

We visited the Riverwalk and decided to eat here for lunch. Shayla was so pleasant. The place was nice and very clean. The food was excellent! If you’re looking for good sushi and excellent service, stop by the Rock N Roll Sushi – you won’t be disappointed (we weren’t)!
