I have been to this location many times. I always enjoy when I see one young man working there named Landon. He is always upbeat, cooks great food, and greets me and other customers with a smile when he sees you. Nothing like good food, good food, and a smile.

Came here on a late dinner on Sunday in September 2024. They are open until 9:00 on Sunday. It’s a small dining room but not crowded at 8:00. Got seated and ordered quickly. Food was prepared and brought soon after that. Good choice of rolls and appetizers. Hibachi was already shut down for the day, but we weren’t there for that. All at our table enjoyed the meal. We plan on trying the Old Shell location next.

Disappointed as I come here often. Neither Vip roll was fried. The california roll was terrible. It was just rice with cucumber in it. No crab stick at all. I wont be returning. This place has been slowly declining.
Decided to give them one last try. Next time will be a different location. I love the food here but a simple order of four vip rolls three with no jalapeños. I get people mess up every now and then but it can’t be everytime.
Maybe get your face out of your phone and youcan take orders correctly.

Rudest workers I have ever met. They were literally talking and making fun of what I ordered right in front of me. We were the only people in the store and she was talking LOUD. I will never be coming back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

First time ever going to a sushi bar and I must say it was a great experience… customer service was great the atmosphere was nice and rock n rolly and they have great designs of some rock n roll legends … They have a lot to choose from but I picked some great items … everything was delicious and hot and fresh.. I must say the wontons was delicious was that great dipping sauce and those shrimps was delicious also… my baby and hubby enjoyed they meals also… everything was just nice in general… I will be returning…

This is A++ sushi experience as someone, I believe, knows alot about the topic. It is located behind Krispy Kreme, in the Picadilly Square shopping center. Semi hard to see from the road but faces Airport Blvd and is perpendicular to Hillcrest rd.
The atmosphere is great. Theres a bar for single dining, and about 5 booths along the wall, w a few tables in the front.
Album covers are the menus, real ones, with the menu cleverly pasted inside. I thought this was cool…
Theme being rock and roll, this sushi joint uses all the late and great bands and performers for names of the rolls.
** I had the Jimi Hendrix roll. With shrimp tempura, cucumber (or avocado, I can’t remember pretty sure cuke) with cream cheese inside and fresh mango, sweet chili and eel sauce on top. I opted to substitute raw red tuna. Which I highly recommend….it was the perfect balance of sweet, heat, and umame (I know silly word but it’s that Asian savory salty thing) it was great. I absolutely loved it!!!
**I also had miso soup, also good. Typical miso no real stand outside but I still had no complaints.
**The servers were all there w kitchen staff. Typical sushi bar thing in effect made right there in front of u. They were talking, I was alone, and completely included me as if I were part of the family.
**My server Sarah was extremely nice and had great knowledge of the menu and nothing but smiles for me.
**This place is underrated as far as I could see. Only one other table eating while I was there.
Please do yourself a favor and visit this local business as it is a hidden jem. Yum!!

i don’t care what anyone else says for me rock n roll sushi is the best sushi in mobile! not sure what they do to their rolls but they are ALWAYS feel so fresh. the ambience is always great and our server was very quick with our requests despite the dinner rush.

Very nice service but the miso soup was too salty, the sushi was really good. I recommend it if your ok with salty miso’s other than that awesome

This is the first one star review I’ve ever wrote. I am usually not petty when it comes to food but i think this is a joke. I’ve ordered through Doordash my dinner, and this is the “VIP ROLL” i got, i am soooo disappointed . I paid extra for the food and service, being an online order, and this is what i got. I will never order from you guys anymore, i am so disgusted
