Every time I have come to this location I get more and more disappointed. We stopped eating after awhile and decided to have it tonight but again a huge disappointment. We ordered ahead on DoorDash for pickup and waited 45 min. Just to have our sushi rolls be severely undercooked that you can still taste the tempura batter and the jalepeno poppers having hardly any coating on it. Spent $75 dollars for extremely undercooked food and we are stuck eating it because that was our special meal we decided to treat ourselves to.

Love the service, the vibe and the food. My favorite is there fried rice, definitely the best in town. And every time I’ve been the servers have always been excellent. I try to go at least once a month

The food is good, I like to get a bowl and a roll, usually. The ramen is good, the sushi is good, the wasabi is really good. Only problem is that tonight my girlfriend and I went in, there was no one else seated at any tables, we were literally the only people besides the handful of people at the bar, and it took forever for our server to get to us, once they did they took our order and it was like they completely forgot about us, didn’t bring our drinks out for the longest time, came back to our table and asked what they could get us started to drink as though they didn’t just come and ask already and put it in their little handheld computer thing just 10 minutes ago and then once those people at the bar finally left, the service was okay. Didn’t have any problems left. I get it, you know, one server for the whole place. But you had one table to wait and the people sitting at the bar already had their stuff. I mean… Hmmm. It’s not like that every time but the service has been kind of slow before. I’d still go back there.

My first visit to R&R. The atmosphere is good and service was friendly and the facility is clean and well maintained. Music videos were spot on for the R&R theme. Big choice of sushi rolls on the menu but maybe not what I would call traditional sushi rolls. Lots of cream cheese, fried, baked. Service was fairly quick from the back of the house. They also have a full bar and a great sound system.

The dumplings were really good, crispy and hot. We had a VIP roll and a Spicy Tuna Roll which were good but not great. I was a little disappointed in the miso soup, it had no flavor and was room temperature. Our server did voluntarily remove the soup from our tab. The Tuna Tataki appetizer was pretty good but slightly over cooked. Their interpretation of that dish was different than what I’ve traditionally seen.

Overall I liked the theme but they need to focus a little more on tradition and quality. But look, for sushi in Cullman Al, I really wouldn’t trust any other place.

We had the most AMAZING experience today at Rock n Roll Sushi! Our server, a sweet young lady named Reanna suggested some menu options that I never would have considered, and it was just really good. Can’t wait to come back!

Great ATMOSPHERE. Food is good but can be improved.
Visiting family in Cullman wanted to try this place and saw that they had ramen. Coming in I loved the decorations of guitars on the walls, roof made to look like a stage set scaffolding in total atmosphere was great I loved the theme.
My kid and I tried some ramen and some appetizers. We tried the fried chicken stage stoppers pretty good, very crispy and good sauce. I really like the tuna and avocado appetizer that was really good. We got the creamy tonkotsu, and black garlic tonkotsu. They were out of protein for the ramen by 2pm so that’s not very good to run out of food by lunchtime and I will say the ramen was not the best in my opinion. Ramen needs to be seasoned more was lacking the saltiness of the broth and the noodles are a bit over cooked that it breaks very easily. Cook the noodles less and add more bouillon to the broth they’d have a better ramen. The seasoned egg was excellent I give them good points for that a good ramen should always have a good seasoned egg. Also ordered some salmon sashimi and a bagel roll. Sashimi was good and decently fresh but very thin, but they made up for it by decorating it into a rose which was lovely.
All in all decor was great, had a good mother and daughter time, food was good but can be improved, restroom was clean and very cool.

Someone who’s had his fair share of proper sushi i stumbled in here for a novelty peak. Definitely a slightly different experience from a traditional sushi establishment. Proper customer service delivered. Personally the rock theme takes away sushi experience as it’s meant to be enjoyed in a more subdued environment but that’s an opinion. See for yourself to get a feel for it. Food was decent but not memorable, a few off putting flavor bits that didn’t work well here and didn’t deliver, rice texture, seasonings, too much bite on the roll that was meant to be much softer and such. At this price point there’s an expectation. There’s a more extensive menu for fried rolls (their speciality). Worth a peak? maybe but I’m a traditionalist and this ain’t it.

Food was disgustingly horrible, the service was slow, the only thing good was atmosphere. The sushi was horrible, I have had better sushi at plubix. The hubbachi was ehh, the vegetables didn’t taste right, and all of the appetizers on the appetizers sampler were gross. I would rather go to nanja.
