Great- fresh food!! They have a good selection on hot and cold cut sandwiches, salads, sides and desserts. The atmosphere is so amazing. Everyone is so happy and extremely polite. It is also very clean inside. My pictures don’t do this place any justice. Just go visit yourself.

What a fantastic find in Wartrace! I was passing through the area and needed a quick bite to eat, and I’m so glad I stumbled upon Rock House Deli.
The daily sandwiches are really good – fresh ingredients, generous portions, and clearly made with care. But I have to give a special shout-out to their potato salad – it’s hands down one of the best I’ve ever had! Perfectly seasoned and just the right texture.
If you’re in the Wartrace area, don’t miss this gem. Rock House Deli delivers quality food and great value. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

The Rock House Deli is incredibly delicious! I tried the southbound sandwich with Jessie’s loaded tomato cucumber salad. The sandwiches are loaded down with fresh toppings and meat. The flavor combinations were delicious. I can’t wait to return and try some of the other sandwiches. The tomato cucumber salad was awesome. It was refreshing on a hot day and unlike any other tomato cucumber salad I’d had before. We also tried the chocolate chip cookies. They were soft and rich. They tasted almost like there’s brownie batter in the middle. Overall: delicious, fresh, must try!

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting our son’s first birthday party at The Rock House Depot Deli yesterday, and it was a perfect experience!
KerriAnn, the owner, is absolutely fabulous to work with. From the start, she was incredibly accommodating, and her people skills and communication are truly top-notch.
The food was also delicious! KerriAnn and her team made a beautiful charcuterie “ONE” and served mini subs with all the fixings for our guests to snack on. Everything was fresh and received rave reviews! We are so grateful to KerriAnn and her team for allowing us to be their first rental and for the delicious food and generous help with the setup.
If you are looking for an intimate, charming place to host a small birthday party or shower, you must check out The Rock House Depot Deli. Even if you aren’t planning a party, go visit for lunch! You won’t be disappointed.

Golden Hour Travelers
We saw this great segment on Tennessee Crossroads. The story was compelling about a beloved local deli. The owners were going to close as it was time for them. And a 19-year-old bought the business that had been working there. The community embraced her and lifted her up.
We were delighted to find out it was just a hop skip and jump from where we would be staying. So on our way to find some waterfalls we stopped for lunch. We were greeted with a bright cheery welcome and smiles. While waiting to order one of the locals came back to make sure she knew there was someone just hanging out on her front porch (which she welcomed warmly). It was nice to see how much she is cared for by the community. The sandwiches were hearty and done perfectly. BLT with a tomato cucumber salad made to order. And a club with potato salad. Both sandwiches were made so that every bite had each ingredient. No skimping on anything. And the potato salad was hands down the best potato salad we have ever had out. Homemade with love. And momma’s sweet tea and lemonade were exactly what you would expect from a southern sweetheart that owns this gem. If you want a great lunch that will give you the energy for a hike to a waterfall or two, this is our go to.

i am new to the area and was looking for a good place for lunch, if you’re looking for the same thing, DONT over look this deli!!
i have tried the turkey sandwich, the grilled cheese & tomato bisque soup, and the baked potato salad. everything came out as expected & was DELICIOUS. I have gotten take out and a doordash delivery and everything was great, and the food was still warm on my delivery! these girls are doing a great job!

FANTASTIC FOOD, sweet people and a delicious menu – we had the Fairfield and the Italian with best potato salad on the planet and yummy tomato bisque and we split a chocolate chip cookie that was out of this world – best meal I’ve had at a deli anywhere! The word deli threw me, this is more of a delicious restaurant feel than a deli. Well done ladies and congratulations Kerriann Brewer on being such a young owner and keeping your standards for food higher than restaurants owned by seasoned owners!

Stopped in while going through town during VolState and this place was great from the food to the staff.
Walking in the place was very clean and the staffed welcomed me like I was one of the locals. The ladies were quick to ask what I wanted to drink and gave me ideas of what the most popular choices were when ordering food.
I ordered the Strolling Jim and potato salad. The sandwich was made perfect and the potato salad was great to have with it. If you sit outside you will have a chance to see the trains coming through town or just watch the cars passing by.
I highly recommend stopping at the Rock House Depot Deli if you are wanting good food and a down home atmosphere before heading out of town.

I can’t say this enough, who can screw up a grill cheese. All it is bread, cheese and butter! What we received was bread , processed cheese with no butter and toasted. The tea was watered down with hardly any flavor. I came in to see family, enjoy a wonderful day and get a nice grilled sandwich. This is not what was expected on what was rated for this sandwich shop. We paid $34.00 to get 2 toasted cheese sandwich, 2 bag chips, 1 panini sandwich, 2 teas and water. This isn’t a high end area, no one should charge that much for cheese toast. Won’t be back!!!
