I had an extra day off and decided to try a Rock Hard Burger. The Patty Melt was fabulous. I was really surprised by the size. The tots were perfectly crispy. The bartender/server was excellent and so friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back.

This was my first time at rockhard burgers and Brew. The place is really nice. There’s a lot of TVs on for sports if you’re into that. The tables are nice. The atmosphere is good. The food is amazing! I got the pastrami sandwich with fries and also an order of zucchini fries. It was all very very good. My friend got a burger and fries and the brussel sprouts also excellent! The server was very friendly, working very hard and got to us in a timely manner and stayed on top of things. I will definitely go back!

So much to say. If you haven’t met Stevie you will she is a rockstar server who runs the show! Her smile lights up the room, she is attentive and adorably sweet. This place is family friendly and has some of the best burgers in the Sacramento area. The fig jam on the blue burger is next level. The beer selection is fantastic. I recommend the slap and tickle. Sorry no pics I’m lame and devoured everything before realizing I needed to write this review. If you love local family owned family run do me a favor and check them out. You can thank me later.

We’ve pick up ordered from this place several times. The food is good, but the service not so much. We’ve had minor issues with orders before, but last night did it for us. We placed an order for pick up (for a family of 4). Got there to pick up our order and we were told that they didn’t have our order – apparently the computers were down. They found our order and said it’d be about 20 minutes. We were fine with that, not anyone’s fault the computers were down. We ended up waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes for our order that we were told would take 20 minutes! Again, this was food for a family of 4, the place wasn’t busy, I dont know what the issue was – the girl at the front was trying to help, but didn’t know what was taking so long. We were offered a 20% off discount off our next purchase – which we felt was like a slap in the face after such a huge inconvenience. Not only was our order not ready on time (which wasn’t a huge deal) but being told it’d take 20 minutes, then getting the run around and having to wait an hour and 15 minutes just isn’t acceptable! We’d already paid prior to getting there and didn’t want to ask for a refund when we thought our food was being prepared. To not be offered a discount off this nightmare of an order is just horrible customer service. To me the order should have been comped. The whole thing was a joke with no solution or real sympathy being offered. The food is good, but not worth the crappy service. Needless to say, we won’t be going back at this point.

The food was delicious. I will definitely be going back. I had the bacon blue cheeseburger with a salad and I was impressed with everything about it. High quality ingredients and probably one of the best burgers ive had out. My friend had the BBQ chicken pizza and loved it. It was slightly too sweet for me but he loved it. Im looking forward to trying more menu items

The owner Stevie is AMAZING! We came in with a big party of 6 adults and 6 kids (all under the age of 5) around 8pm. We were looking for a last minute place to host our friends who were visiting us and Stevie truly went above and beyond my expectations!
She made sure the adults were taken care of, as well as our kids. She and her dad were very attentive the whole night, even though there was another big party at the same time. She even made sure we knew about their kids section, which has bar stools and a counter full of coloring books, puzzles, books, magazines, playing cards, etc. Our kids were getting restless being at the restaurant, but she took time to talk with them, and entertain them with stickers and knick knacks. She even let them take a toy home! She was just the sweetest.
It’s hard to find a place that accommodates kids, and I would never expect any establishment to bend over backwards just because I have kids. But she was just so welcoming to us all. We will definitely be coming back!

tried this place for the first time on Friday the 13th! the bartender/server, Stevie, was so friendly! she was the only one I saw working the front and she was ON TOP OF IT! well done! the food was delicious. my favorite was the Rock Hard Balls LOL. they sound funny but holy moly they’re mouthwatering. the ciders I tasted were refreshing. my favorite was the Humboldt Honey @ 7%. I love this place and can’t wait to go back and bring others with me!!

burgers was ok. meat was a bit undercooked but overall tasty. the person that helped me was not very sharp or cordial. i ordered for takeout and had a nice beer while waiting. the atmosphere was not welcoming, a bit dark and the help was not upbeat. the hamburger and fries were prepared quickly maybe that’s why the meat was undercooked but again was tasty enough. Not a place id say i will be back for sure. I dont think they will be in business very long.

The avocado egg rolls with the dipping sauce are excellent!! I had the portobello hamburger with fries also excellent and huge! Everyone at my table were very pleased.
