This was a new experience for me! The restaurant was a lot bigger than I expected and our waitress was very accommodating at the start but that faded through out the visit by not checking on us and our order took longer than expected. The trip to the restroom was an experience that I have never had ever!! It makes a porta-potty smell good! The smell of urine was unbelievably strong and would almost gag you. I have a hard time believing that the restaurant staff wouldn’t done something to find out what was happening and fix that! That is unacceptable for a restaurant health department standpoint!!

We’re from out of town and were happy to stumble upon Rock Bottom Brewery while strolling downtown Denver, especially since they had chicken and fries on the menu for my picky daughter. I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but we actually had a really good experience.
I really enjoyed my club sandwich, and my husband liked his burger. My daughter ate all of her chicken and fries and even finished with a kids’ sundae, so that’s a win! The only downside was the cherry limeade cocktail. It didn’t seem to have much alcohol and wasn’t very flavorful.
Overall, though, the atmosphere was nice, the service was friendly, and it was a great spot for a relaxed family meal downtown.

Stopped in while in Downtown Denver on my birthday today, during my cross country trip. The service was great. The American Dream was a perfect pairing with the Cobb Salad. Russell had great suggestions on things I needed to see before I left today. Thank you for making my birthday special, Sir!

I came here just for beer, did not eat.
When I arrived the outside area was packed but it was pretty much empty inside. I sat at the bar and asked about a flight. They don’t do flights but the have $4 tasters do you can “make your own flight” with tasters. The bartender wasn’t very welcoming, nor did he seem like he wanted to be there. He did get me what I asked for but that was all the interaction despite me being one of three people at the bar.
The bar area is just okay. It’s a bit dark in there and nothing special. The beer was also just okay. I liked 3 of the four I ordered but they weren’t anything to write home about.
I’d say it was a very average experience.
Location couldn’t be better for visitors though. Location is 10/10.

Best pretzel I have ever had, same gies for their garlic fries. This place is great! Feels like other places have used some bots to boost their reviews, stayed in Denver for whole week, and this was the best place to have beer and some food. Kyle the waiter provided great service, and informed us about hidden happy hour!! Must visit for sure!

Logan was our waitress this last weekend. I usually don’t feel so inclined to leave a review but I felt she really deserved one. She had an amazing sense of humor and was very attentive our glasses were never empty. I also have a complicated order due to dietary restrictions and everything came out perfect despite her being very busy.

The beer was alright. I expected more choices for on tap. The liquid sunshine tasted exactly as described. Barvarian pretzel and beer cheese was tasty but it seemed like it sat in a window for a while since the cheese was starting to get cold by the time it got to me. It was not busy and I had hoped for better service. When the server was around she was very friendly but would disappear for 15 minutes at a time. For a little afternoon snack it was an ok experience.

There was nothing spectacular about the meal or the service. To start I had the pretzel rolls. They had a little too much salt which was easy enough to remove but the cheese dip tasted stale. I also ordered the chicken fried chicken sandwich. The chicken itself was bland. It came with pickles and jalapeño slaw. The slaw was also bland and added nothing more than a little crunch. I dipped my sandwich in hot sauce and ketchup to add some flavor. I should’ve just ordered the chicken tenders. The waffle fries were good but nothing more than I’d expect from a side of fries.
