Our passion for fresh food comes from our founder, Mary Vasquez. Throughout her childhood in Central Mexico, she cooked with her mother and grandmother, helping to prepare family meals. When she moved to the States, she married Mike, had children of her own, continuing to make her favorite recipes from her childhood. In 1973, Mike and Mary took over an existing restaurant in Corona, CA and renamed it “Miguel’s” in honor of Mike’s grandfather. Today this family tradition continues. It is our promise to deliver the freshest, best tasting California Mexican food each and every day at all of our Miguel’s Jr. locations.

WTH!! I’ve been gone from Cali for a year (military at a different duty location) and just moved back for a new assignment. Only to find my beloved carne asada looking like carnitas or carne seca. Completely changed flavor and nostalgia gone!!! I am so brokenhearted and will not be ordering carne asada again and really no one should until they bring back the original!! I wish I could give a zero on food because of the carne asada but at least the beans and rice are still good. And the customer service and the way they respect the military and law enforcement is still outstanding!!

I have been coming here for years and I have NEVER had my order come out correctly. If I say “chicken” they give me cheese. If I say “sauce on the side” they put extra sauce all over. If I say “no avocado” extra Guacamole on top. And this is not a mistake once or twice. Its EVERY TIME. Im done. Taco Bell is now getting my business.

I am a relatively new customer to this particular Miguels’s Jr but am very pleased with this location. Service is sometimes a little slow but the staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is always fresh and hot and the pricing competitive. Access to the drive in lane is a little restrictive for large pick up trucks but manageable. Overall, the food is better than most local Mexican food stores and I am now a repeat customer.

We called to ask about their burrito special We saw on Instagram.
The employee who answered the phone was very helpful and even told us about another special they had.
When we got there the same employee took our order and was so friendly and kind.
She answered all of our questions about their menu.
We ended up ordering 4 burritos to go and while we were making small talk about trying their tacos she said she’d include a couple for us to try.
The tacos and burritos were absolutely delicious, but the star of our night was definitely the employee.
We’ll go back because the food was really good, but the kindness of that employee stood out and made us super fans of the restaurant.
I highly recommend everyone to give them a try.

So check it out I have not been to Miguel Junior‘s for a while. I ordered me the El potato with chili Verde. I don’t know if I gotta say that’s also pork but it’s bomb super bomb. I got that and a Coke. I got it to go jumped in my van and mashed that burrito and was just a happy camper. I didn’t use no hot sauce or nothing and it tasted amazing – potatoes perfect, meat perfect. I also ate at Miguel Junior’s. I think about 12 years ago and I also ordered the exact same thing that time so as far as the rest of the menu goes I’m completely in the dark, but if you go in there, get yourself an El potato burrito with pork or chili Verde however, you wanna call it I don’t know the preferred nomenclature.

I have been going to Miguel’s Jr since there was only 1 location in Corona. I was excited to see one open up near where I moved to and then was immediately disappointed by getting soggy tacos that fall apart as soon as you open the wrapper. The food still tastes good and its a flavor I expect and love but soggy falling apart is not the standard.

It’s really disappointing to order chorizo breakfast burritos and then get ZERO chorizo in them 🙁 I went towards the end of breakfast hours, so I understand things may be low or out, but I would have preferred to know that when I ordered or got to the window. Instead, I got home and discovered that the main component of both of my burritos isn’t in there at all. This is the second time this has happened at this location, but I hoped the first was a fluke.

My coworkers and I decided to go grab a breakfast burritos. We were there the second they opened and the only 3 customers there. My coworker first and he ordered the Green Pig burrito. I was second and ordered the Green Pig burrito as well. My third coworker ordered the Chorizo burrito. As we are eating my coworker who ordered the Green Pig burrito finds a long black hair in his food. He informs Jovita and they make him another burrito. At this point I’m about half way done with my burrito when I take a bite and start chewing that I feel a hair in my mouth. I immediately started gagging and pulled a long black hair out of my mouth. I informed Jovita the cashier at the front and told her I didn’t want another burrito but I did want to let them know there is hair in my food. Jovita just responded with “oh my god, what’s going on this morning?” But that’s all she said. That’s just completely ridiculous, they weren’t even open for 20 minutes nor were they busy. I completely lost my appetite and am just disgusted whenever I think about it. I honestly should have asked for a refund. The only thing I enjoyed was the coffeechata but even with that I hope they made it right.
