Rocco’s Smokehouse Grill is above par with many similar restaurants like it. Even though it was 6:30 when we arrived there was no wait for a table for 2.
Our server was great and was helpful with recommendations.
Both our meals were excellent. I can’t recall the last time I could not finish a meal because it was too much, but at Rocco’s, my portion of brisket was not only absolutely delicious, but so large that I unfortunately had to leave some on my plate.
I will definitely go back there if I am in the area.

The ribs were amazing, chefs kiss! Fell off the bone, not dry, great flavour, and tasty sauce. Service was great as well, very friendly staff. I loved the cornbread. Great food and portions for the value! Also, fantastic pecan pie!

Ordered takeout and the food was fast and ready within 15 minutes. The smoked wings were my son’s favorite I had the Rocco #3 to get a taste of everything. Ribs and chicken were fall off the bone with an excellent bark on the brisket. I think I ate a rib bone but I’m not sure. Very good. Do recommend.

They have a great menu to choose from. We ordered baby back ribs, brisket, chicken, and hamburger, and all of the plates were really good.
The ribs’ full rack is huge, and the house sauce was really good.
Honestly, this place is a must if you’re visiting Williamsburg or even if you are local.

The food was beyond delicious! The smoked chicken was so delicious it didn’t need a sauce! The shrimp and grilled salmon were cooked to perfection. Even my wife enjoyed her meal and said she had found her favorite place in Williamsburg to eat! We will definitely be back!

The smoked beef brisket Philly was wonderful! The fish and chips were also delicious. Service was wonderful and the french fries were delicious. All in all it was a great meal. This is the second time I’ve been here and the food was delicious the first time so we returned. My favorite thing so far here has been the smoked beef brisket Philly. This was because the bun was absolutely perfect for the sandwich. Delicious bread, delicious meat.

This was our first visit to Rocco’s Smokehouse Grill. The atmosphere is okay, very casual and clean. The service was okay, friendly but a little confused. It took a few minutes to be seated, with the hostess reviewing her pad. The food was good but a little under seasoned to our taste.

I should’ve known this wasn’t going to be good when I saw that the “brisket” had been cut WITH the grain instead of against. ♀️ The smoke flavor was missing. As a matter of fact ANY flavor was missing! Ribs were really overdone and just a personal preference I’m not a fan of the membrane being left on. The burnt ends were rubbery and tasteless and I can’t even begin to describe the coleslaw. Let’s just say I went to bed hungry this night.
