Rocco’s Pizza is my ride or die. Honestly, I’d rather die without pizza than go anywhere else ever again. My wife and I were genuinely devastated when they closed a few months ago. We tried just about every pizza spot in the metro Detroit area (at least a 30 mile radius), and nothing even came close. I hate to sound like a total brown-noser, but Rocco’s really is the absolute best pizza joint. We’re beyond thrilled they’re back open and ready to fuel our dough addiction for many years to come.
P.S. I’m lactose intolerant and will continue to suffer the consequences for the privilege of enjoying Rocco’s pizza. WORTH IT EVRY SINGLE TIME.

Got a large pizza with half pepperoni. I LOVED the crust!!! You can tell the toppings are high quality. We reheated it in our oven at home and it made the bottom crunchy, which was amazing. I don’t love the tiramisu, but it was alright. It’s a bit pricey but I really enjoyed the pizza overall! Very friendly service

So so happy to have Rocco’s back!! It’s some of the best pizza around. We love the jersey style thin crust pizza. Sauce has a light and fresh flavor. And the crust is perfection. You can tell they are only using the freshest ingredients in their pie! Rocco’s is our go to!

Pizza was absolutely delicious! The crust was airy and crunchy, the sauce was tangy and had the perfect homemade taste. I enjoyed every bite and so did my husband (New York native who I always hate offering pizza too here in Michigan because he is extremely critical)!! Can’t say enough good about this pizza!!!

I’m going to start with my recommendations: Fettuccine Alfredo, and Lasagne.
This is a well ran family business. The older woman makes all of this dough from scratch and it’s absolute perfection. The fettuccine Alfredo is to die for. It has a sweetness to it I can’t explain and I will get it over and over again and not get sick of it. The staff is EXTREMELY nice. They go above and beyond.
One night I called in about 20-25 minutes before they closed (I hate doing this to any restaurant, and if they’re out of something I’m ok with that) so I called Rocco’s ordered my usual, she said ready in 20 min. I found out later that she didn’t even have and pasta left she made it from scratch right when I called. THAT is customer service. I’ve read a lot of these negative reviews and I wasn’t impressed. Give this place a try you won’t regret it.

Well we gave Rocco’s a try today after having read a few reviews online and wanting to support our local businesses. Unfortunately, the pizza and wings we had didn’t in any way resemble or taste like the reviews we read. I hate writing a bad review – as I am sure that this is probably a family owned business and the people are working hard to make a living. At the same time, I paid $44 for a pizza and some wings that literally tasted like something that I could have purchased in the frozen foods section at Kroger. Really disappointing experience… to say the least.

Pizza is about style. They have style here, Jersey Style or Grandma Style. Jersey is thin round, Grandma is thicker but not deep dish thick, square. Service was great, informative and customer oriented. Atmosphere could use a table or two, for sitting while you wait or to eat a slice. Pizza was good, had a large Jersey style, sauce was flavorful and cheese was equally distributed. Crust was crispy and chewy, perhaps overly chewy a bit. They’ll be a good addition to Oak Park but there is great pizza in nearby cities, will be interesting to see how they do. Wishing them success!

VERY impressed with Rocco’s. Often when I order thin round pies it’s usually undercooked and very floppy. I got the Kung Fu Chicken pizza and it was not undercooked, there was no flop and had a great crisp. If you prefer a more traditional pizza the Kung Fu chicken pizza is different taste wise but nerveless delicious. I’m excited to try more items on the menu. The garlic knots are really great as well, super addicting.
You can taste the quality. Very impressed and MILES better than what Primos was making.
Update: after a month 1/2 and 7 pizzas later. This pizza is incredible. I’ve tried the jersey style round and their grandma style square and I’m blown away by every pizza I get from Rocco’s.
