We finished a local hike earlier than planned so we found this little joint that had brunch options. Arriving around 10:45 on a Saturday morning, there were outdoor tables, outdoor picnic tables or inside seating. We picked inside due to heat and local traffic. Our waitress was very attentive. She had waters refilled without cues, she was patient with our orders which included an allergy. The challah French toast and turkey wrap were my favorite. We also got egg dishes and a steak and cheese grinder. All meals were prepared with care. The bathroom was appropriately clean and maintained. The kitchen staff attire was on par with kitchen safety standards and they worked smoothly as a team. Several to-go orders were picked up during our visit. Staff speaks English & Spanish. Parking area seemed small.

Outdoor seating was nice. A hungry blue jay kept trying to grab a bite from the tables until a staff member caught it and moved it away, but it came back shortly after. Fed it some bread for the little ones and that seemed to do the trick for a while. Food was good with the exception of the eggs being a little fresh. Maybe a slight lime/lemon added to cut on the fresh scent/taste.

My wife and I recently stopped by Rob’s Kitchen, which used to be one of our favorite go-to spots, but something has definitely changed — possibly new ownership or different staff.
I ordered a turkey burger (with a slice of onion) and my wife had a cod fish sandwich (with a slice of tomato). Unfortunately, both meals were disappointing. The turkey burger had absolutely no flavor, and the service was mediocre at best.
What really shocked me, though, were the prices. I was charged $2.00 for a sliver of onion (Burger) and another $2.00 for a single slice of tomato (Fish sandwich) — unreal! I’m surprised they didn’t add a charge for ketchup or napkins.
This wasn’t my first disappointing visit either, so I think it’s safe to say this place has gone downhill. Two strikes and you’re out.
Sorry to say, I won’t be returning anymore — sorry, Rob.

I Had the Lumberjack breakfast and it was good. Very much like a homemade breakfast! Did it catch my attention to come back? No but if you’re a local it’s a decent place to grab breakfast.

My husband and I went here for lunch after a hike nearby. We got to sit outside (it was unusually warm for March and we wanted to soak it up) and didn’t have to wait for more than 2-3mins even though they were hopping and seating is somewhat limited. I’m guessing that’s not always the case but I bet their food is easy to take to go as well. Our waitress was great, she helped me decide what to order when I was undecided between two dishes. Our food came out quickly and was filling, tasty, and pretty inexpensive.
Great choice for a quick and hearty bite for anything from an individual to a family. We’ll definitely go back next time we’re in the area. 🙂

DELICIOUS . I had the corned beef hash benedict and got it with the corn muffin instead of the english muffin- SO good!! Hollandaise sauce was amazing . Coffee was great too- cooled down pretty quickly though. It is a small place and we were lucky there were still a handful of spots open at about noontime!

Thank you to Robs in plainville. Great service very nice team to see working together in the kitchen. Tasty food no issues with anything. Everything was fresh and on point. The prices reflect the food portions and the kind staff even help if you don’t understand something on the menu. They have freshly made cookies and the coffee tastes great. They have a secret menu that is very authentic and fun to try. We will keep coming back.

Very tasty breakfasts! I had the green omelet. I remember liking the butter they use on the toast. Good value, was around $64 for 2 adult and 2 kids breakfasts with 2 drinks and a side of bacon. They also have an outdoor patio which would be nice to sit when good weather. Would highly recommend and definitely come here again!

Rob’s Kitchen…Yes!! I had the best breakfast experience! Friendly staff that got everything right, eggs over sticky just the way I like them, perfect sausage, and the absolute best Challah Bread French Toast with apple-pie filling on top! Even the coffee was coffee-shop quality, and they kept it coming. Cost? Prices were on point; it was less than $50 for 3 people who go all out on breakfast. I was so sorry that I left without taking a picture, so go check them out next time you’re in the area – it’s so worth it.

Me and my wife went here for a nice morning breakfast, we ordered breakfast sampler as it was the first time we were here, the portion was good and we had to leave some of it as it was alot. Taste was good. It was for 11 $ over all along with coffee. We sat outside and it was nice and flowery.
