Charming and fancy inside, the wait staff was friendly and quick, the food was delicious, and I loved the gnocchi and lamb chops. The atmosphere was good; it felt more like fine dining for the area, which is what I was looking for. Everything was presented well, with attention to detail. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for an Italian place or a nice date night in the area!

One of the best fine dining restaurants in the area. My family and I have been patronizing this restaurant for years. Service staff is very attentive and friendly. Food is great and they use high quality ingredients while offering reasonable prices. They are attentive to food restrictions and willing to adjust/customize a dish to meet customer expectations. Their Ossobuco is great. Great restaurant for a nice date or family gathering.

I went with my family (10 people) to celebrate a recent event. The meal was exceptional, and they were able to accommodate some specific food allergies (gluten free gnocchi). We ordered a range of dishes, and everyone was very impressed – crab ravioli, steak, seafood pasta, pork, along with a few appetizers. Our server was Alex – also incredible. Highly recommend Robiolona.

After reading all of the positive reviews of this place, I was really excited to try it. I was very disappointed to find out it doesn’t even come close to being worthy of 5 stars.
Atmosphere: it’s cozy inside despite the fact that it’s in a strip mall. While I appreciate the effort they made into making it feel romantic, the decor is outdated and a bit stuffy. We sat at a table in the middle of the floor, which was too small to fit an appetizer, drinks, and bread. The chairs are HORRIBLY uncomfortable. I wanted to get up just to give my legs a break from how hard the chair was. A booth might be a better option for those with physical issues (I would have been better off, I’m going to be hurting from this for days afterwards).
Service: our waitress was nice but service is painfully slow. We ordered an appetizer, entrees, and desert and waited roughly 20 minutes between courses. Our waitress did not stop by between courses and didn’t offer refills for our drinks, or anything like cheese or seasoning for our food. She was pleasant enough, but the inattentiveness was annoying. The food runner was extremely awkward and didn’t seem to know which table he was going to throughout the evening. We we’re there for almost 2 hours, but it felt like an eternity. Especially because of the uncomfortable chairs. My god, they were bad.
Food: The calamari was overcooked, had no flavor (even the sauce was flavorless) and was oddly paired with fried jalapeños.
The gnocchi was cooked well and had an exceptionally creamy texture, but the sauce it came in was bland and boring.
The Frutti Di Mari had a fair amount of seafood, but it was overcooked, and the sauce was bland and boring just like the gnocchi sauce. Honestly, it tasted like water with hints of tomato and only a few pieces of actual tomato, and again no seasoning.
The Creme Brulee was good according to my husband.
The ricotta cheesecake was good, however, given the size of it and the taste it wasn’t worth the cost.
Overall, the slow service, extremely uncomfortable seating, and the bland and boring food made the total cost of our meal outrageously expensive. I didn’t taste a hint of salt or any other type of seasoning. It was very disappointing given how flavorful I know Italian food can be. I love Italian food, and REALLY wanted to love this place, but there are better tasting and more affordable options closer to home. We won’t be returning.

Robiolina is a true gem in Stafford! We had an incredible dining experience from start to finish. The soup of the day which was a creamy mushroom soup, was packed with flavor and set the tone for the rest of the meal. We also enjoyed the prosciutto appetizer, a special meat entrée, and the pappardelle. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The standout for me was the pappardelle which was fresh, tender pasta with a delicious sauce that brought everything together. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere cozy yet upscale.
Our server, Alex, was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. He made the experience even better.
Great food, great service, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Italian food done right. We’ll definitely be back!

I placed an order tonight over the phone for: Calamari Duck breast and Grilled Salmon. CALAMARI had Jalapeño! Seriously? Since when Calamari is cooked with Jalapeño? Am from that part of the world in Europe Italy and we do not use Jalapeño on any dish served in restaurants. Then MASHED POTATOES served with Duck breast and Grilled salmon was ESTREMELY SWEET and when I say sweet means sweeter than candy! Why? BREAD was sweet heavy sweet unusual sweet which makes the entire dinner horrible tasting and Me NEVER ORDERING IN THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Please do me a favor and either Fire the Chef or simply Shut Down the Doors because Trust me for a meal I paid $ 82.00 tonight NOTHING – NONE OF IT COULD HAVE BEEN ENJOYED! HATE IT ENTIRELY! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! OVERPRICED SMALL PORTIONS AND ALTERED TASTE! MY RATE: ZERO!!!!!

The food was awesome. Other then the pork chop was under cooked. They did make a new one. The service was ok. Had to flag someone the whole time. The waitress walked past our table. She would check on the tables around us. I understand they are very busy. They sure were quick to pick up the check. Not a huge issue.

It’s only our 4th time visiting Robiolina , our server Alex makes it easy to reserve this restaurant. The ambiance is really beautiful, the drinks are amazing , and not to mention the food . I love the lamb sausage and duck breast. I am looking forward to visiting in the near future
