This is a beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. We had breakfast. I am not a fan of grits but I was talked into getting their Shrimp and Grits. I was glad I did. They were excellent. The place is owned by Dorothy Roberts. She’s the sister of Robin Roberts of Good Morning America fame. Their father is one of the Tuskgee Airmen. Make this one of your stops when in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

The food is amazing! I had the shrimp and grits, which I get every time I come here. My husband had the pork chop breakfast. The flavors were so good and the pork chop was so tender. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We go here often.

My husband ordered the special today, Monte Cristo sandwich, which was tasty, with a side of their amazing bacon (best I’ve ever tasted) and a large orange juice and I ordered the Roberts Place Deluxe Breakfast, which was very good and a large orange juice. The bacon is always eaten first! It has a sweet coating (family secret). Not sure if it’s honey, brown sugar or maple syrup, but whatever it is, I always have to order whenever we go. This is my new favorite breakfast place!

We went for breakfast. We were seated immediately. The atmosphere felt like being in your grandma’s dining room. My husband ordered the Robert’s place deluxe breakfast and I ordered the half order of biscuits with gravy and french toast with a side of cheese grits. The hashbrowns, cheese grits and bacon were the superstars of our meal. If you go, order extra bacon. Solid dining experience!

My family and I were in the area, looking for a new brunch place and were not disappointed. This is a cute little place with great service. Everyone was very friendly and hospitable. My daughter and I shared shrimp & grits and French toast, both of which were a good portion size and very good. My husband got one of the traditional breakfast plates – eggs, sausage, grits, pancakes – and enjoyed his as well. This is a great little spot and we will definitely stop back in when we’re in the area.

Clean, comfortable unique restaurant experience in a converted house. The theme centers on the Roberts family and New Orleans/Coastal southern cuisine. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. Our coffee, from a standard drip pot, was notably good ☕️.

Fantastic service. Every server I observed was very attentive and friendly. Owner welcomed you in and seated you she was friendly with a big smile as well. Shrimp and grits were great! I prefer no cheesy grits but overall was very good. Will be back for brunch. Prices very reasonable as well for the amount of food you get.

I had an early morning appointment in Pass Christian so I thought I’d have some breakfast. I’m so glad I picked Roberts Place Cafe. This delightful spot has charm, great food and service. I went for the shrimp & grits and it was great. Cheese grits were delicious and there was generous portion of tasty Shrimp. The atmosphere was unique in that it was a converted house with separate rooms. Lots of family pictures and interesting artifacts on display about the Roberts’ Family – amazing people.
The waitress was delightful and I spoke with the owner Dorothy Roberts on the way out. I love all the locally owned restaurants we have that offer outstanding food and service.
I’ll be back for lunch and I highly recommend you dine here – worth the drive!
