The food was extremely overcooked and lacked any flavor. On top of that, the staff had difficulty communicating with customers, which made the experience frustrating.
I would not recommend this restaurant.

The chicken was old and really cold the yucca was dry and the sad thing is that when they first open it was a good place to eat. I hope it was just a bad day or something but not good at all. Chicken felt like it was days old.

I ordered a Cuban Sandwich to go. I was expecting an authentic sandwich from a Cuban Restaurant. It was nothing like the Cuban sandwiches I ate when we live in FL. The sandwich wasn’t pressed. The meats were all wrong. And the pickle wasn’t even in the sandwich. I had been searching for and craving an authentic Cuban Sandwich locally, since we moved from FL 13 years previous. I found a more authentic Cuban sandwich at the local Irish pub!
I took my first bite and bit into a huge piece of cartilage in the meat. I ate around it, but was only able to eat a part of my sandwich. I started feeling sick after eating the food and was also grossed out from the cartilage. I ended up giving my husband the rest, which he attempted to eat the next day. He even said it gave him a stomachache .
My husband is a chatty person and likes to talk to people. He is a Florida native and he was curious if the owners were from FL too, or from Cuba. He was trying to be friendly and asked the cashier/ waitress. She was not friendly and even held up her hand to keep him from talking to her, and was acting annoyed by him trying to talk to her. She only seemed to speak enough English to take our order, take our money, and give us our food, which is fine. She could have been more polite or perhaps told us she didn’t speak English.

Yes, I purchased a Cuban sandwich. The taste was there. The problem was the meat. It was horrible. It seemed like if I was eating rubber, I tried pulling it with my teeth and would not break. It was just big chunks of fat. I have never in my life ate a Cuban sandwich like that And it also had a funky smell to it like it’s been in the freezer for a while I would never go back again.& fyi that’s not the meat you use to make the Cuban sandwich

Little restaurant that has a lot of promise. Food took a while to be prepared. When ordering they didn’t have any of my first choice and they got our other order wrong. Service was nice. Despite the wait and the error, the food was still good. The restaurant is a great change of pace in the middle of Nebraska.

Quaint little restaurant. They have some bakery items stacked for sale on top of the drinks refrigerator. Good food. A little bit of a language barrier. Ordered fries received fried plantains, no argument here. I actually didn’t see they had plantains until I ordered so it was a win, win. Clean restaurant and bathrooms.
