I visited during Restaurant Week, and it was such a memorable experience. I was a little worried that the cooked salmon might taste fishy, but it was absolutely delicious. On top of that, we were even treated to a complimentary dessert, which truly made the experience special.
I visited as I’m about to graduate from my language school, and it turned into such a wonderful memory. I’d really love to come back one more time before I head home.
For apps we had the Honeynut Squash Soup (8/10) it was better than I expected, just wished that the bowl would have been warmer. We also had the Tuna Tartare (7/10), it was good, but I have had better lol!
For mains we had the Squid Ink Linguine with Lobster and Kale (7/10) which also includes a spicy lobster sauce! It was great, portion was good. We also had their Fillet Mignon with truffle potato pomme purée and baby carrots (8/10). I loved the potato purée!
For drinks we enjoyed the Emma Rose (8/10), it wasn’t as sweet as I thought it would be, but I loved it! I ordered the El Dragon Y La Piña (7/10), I enjoyed the refreshing taste and the black pepper with Jalapeno. I also loved their 1910: Vive La Revoluciõn Cognac (which they have unfortunately discontinued, I just so happen to be lucky enough that they had all the ingredients (9/10)! Honestly, I think this one should come back onto the menu!
To finish off we had the Molten Chocolate cake with raspberry gelée, hazelnut shortbread, and vanilla ice cream (8/10)!
I would definitely come back here again and try out a few other dishes! We came when Central Park was covered in snow right before sunset, so it was beautiful!
Again, the staff were amazing, customer service was way up there. Definitely make a reservation if you would like a window seat. It’s a great place for a date night, social gathering, or private events. If you prefer lower volume, I’d recommend making an early reservation and book it in advance (seasonally it might vary, Spring and Summer tend to be more popular).
I will be back!
Once you arrive at the restaurant the first thing you will notice is its very attractive decor. The space is wonderfully decorated with lovely pieces of art. In addition, the staff is enormously welcoming and helpful.
To start, my two guests and I shared the burrata, lobster roll, garden market greens salad and the jumbo lumb crab cake. All four appetizers were so fresh and delicious and had us looking forward to our main course. I had the ginger salmon which was perfectly cooked and came with this delightful sweet-spicy sauce. I wouldn’t mind ordering the ginger salmon on my next trip to the restaurant. As sides I ordered the pommes purée and the yucca fries. Both sides were devoured by the three of us. We finished the meal by sharing the mango panna cotta, hazelnut layer cake and banana pudding. We were given the banana treat by the staff for moving to another table because our 2-hour limit was reached at our window table. The desserts were as delectable as they were colorful. It was truly a marvelous culinary experience and I could not more highly recommend the restaurant.
The atmosphere was incredibly pleasant, with live music that added the perfect touch without ever being too loud. The food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. On top of that, the service was excellent. The staff starting with our server Muzo was attentive and friendly.
They offered me a wonderful desert for my b day .
Overall, it’s a place I would happily return to and highly recommend to anyone.
Service was slow, though we were seated quickly. We ordered the Wagyu burger, salmon, and butternut squash soup. The salmon and soup were excellent, but the Wagyu burger was just average. The meal was reasonably priced at about $170 for two with tip, and we did not order drinks.
The views are great and elevate the experience. Dessert included a lava cake and small pudding cakes—the lava cake was good, the pudding cakes were forgettable.
Overall, I’d rate it a 7/10. Worth experiencing once for the setting, but I would not return.
