Amazing views and a wonderful meal! The server was incredibly kind and attentive.
I visited during Restaurant Week, and it was such a memorable experience. I was a little worried that the cooked salmon might taste fishy, but it was absolutely delicious. On top of that, we were even treated to a complimentary dessert, which truly made the experience special.

I visited as I’m about to graduate from my language school, and it turned into such a wonderful memory. I’d really love to come back one more time before I head home.

We had dinner here on Christmas night, and it was a pricy yet wonderful meal. The staff was proficient, accomodating and the live musical duos were entertaining. All the prix fix menu items were delicious, with the standouts being the hot cider shooters, the foie gras appetizer and the butternut squash risotto entree. The last was truly one of the best dishes we’ve had of late. Bravo!

Robert kicks Tatiana butt. It was painless to make a reservation. We had a private table and excellent service. Michael took care of us. Get the black squid linguine with lobster. They are a gluten free conscious operation. Great dessert. Thank you.

First time here and will be back. Stunning views, beautiful modern decor, lovely service and delicious food. Truly a win win. I chose this restaurant because I wanted to see the design and views, the fact that the food was absolutely delicious was an added plus. Burrata with warm pears and pistachios was delicious. Everything on the plate paired well. It is hard to cook a simple dish and make it extraordinary because there are no tricks to hide behind. Robert succeeded in this with the rigatoni dish. So simple but delicious. Sauce had a great depth of flavor and the rigatoni was al dente. The ricotta on top allowed you to add to each bite if you wanted to. I didn’t taste the eggs royale but the person who ordered it liked it very much and would order it again. I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this restaurant and will be back to try the dinner options and beautiful nighttime views.

I finally made it to ROBERT! And they did not disappoint! The staff were so accommodating and helpful with the menu and taking pics as we celebrating a special occasion!

For apps we had the Honeynut Squash Soup (8/10) it was better than I expected, just wished that the bowl would have been warmer. We also had the Tuna Tartare (7/10), it was good, but I have had better lol!

For mains we had the Squid Ink Linguine with Lobster and Kale (7/10) which also includes a spicy lobster sauce! It was great, portion was good. We also had their Fillet Mignon with truffle potato pomme purée and baby carrots (8/10). I loved the potato purée!

For drinks we enjoyed the Emma Rose (8/10), it wasn’t as sweet as I thought it would be, but I loved it! I ordered the El Dragon Y La Piña (7/10), I enjoyed the refreshing taste and the black pepper with Jalapeno. I also loved their 1910: Vive La Revoluciõn Cognac (which they have unfortunately discontinued, I just so happen to be lucky enough that they had all the ingredients (9/10)! Honestly, I think this one should come back onto the menu!

To finish off we had the Molten Chocolate cake with raspberry gelée, hazelnut shortbread, and vanilla ice cream (8/10)!

I would definitely come back here again and try out a few other dishes! We came when Central Park was covered in snow right before sunset, so it was beautiful!

Again, the staff were amazing, customer service was way up there. Definitely make a reservation if you would like a window seat. It’s a great place for a date night, social gathering, or private events. If you prefer lower volume, I’d recommend making an early reservation and book it in advance (seasonally it might vary, Spring and Summer tend to be more popular).

I will be back!

What if I told you that the dinner at Robert was beyond great. It was simply one of the best dinners I’ve ever had. Let’s start with the location at 2 Columbus Circle, to the right is Central Park and to the left is the Time-Warner Center. Robert is on the top floor of the Museum of Arts and Design. Try to reserve a window seat table on the Columbus Circle side of the restaurant. You will enjoy wonderful views while feasting on mouthwatering food.
Once you arrive at the restaurant the first thing you will notice is its very attractive decor. The space is wonderfully decorated with lovely pieces of art. In addition, the staff is enormously welcoming and helpful.
To start, my two guests and I shared the burrata, lobster roll, garden market greens salad and the jumbo lumb crab cake. All four appetizers were so fresh and delicious and had us looking forward to our main course. I had the ginger salmon which was perfectly cooked and came with this delightful sweet-spicy sauce. I wouldn’t mind ordering the ginger salmon on my next trip to the restaurant. As sides I ordered the pommes purée and the yucca fries. Both sides were devoured by the three of us. We finished the meal by sharing the mango panna cotta, hazelnut layer cake and banana pudding. We were given the banana treat by the staff for moving to another table because our 2-hour limit was reached at our window table. The desserts were as delectable as they were colorful. It was truly a marvelous culinary experience and I could not more highly recommend the restaurant.

I had a truly enjoyable evening at this restaurant celebrating my b day.
The atmosphere was incredibly pleasant, with live music that added the perfect touch without ever being too loud. The food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. On top of that, the service was excellent. The staff starting with our server Muzo was attentive and friendly.
They offered me a wonderful desert for my b day .

Overall, it’s a place I would happily return to and highly recommend to anyone.

Me and the frat boys came here for lunch last week while we were in NYC. What a difference this place is compared to Applebees or the low scale places we usually eat at. We really enjoyed it here a lot! Only bad thing is me and the boys usually like to eat shirtless but it’s too fancy for that here so we had to act civilized and dress like we r some white collar office drones. I can’t remember what we got to eat exactly but it was fancy and delicious. Thankfully we didn’t have to pay for it we put it on the frat credit card that everyone pays into. It was like a $500 bill for 4 of us bros . It was me, Kyle, Matt and Connor who came here together. The service was stellar and everyone was super polite. We got to sit in this long booth. Some weird spider ️ dropped down from the ceiling and stole one of Connor’s French fries. He screamed because he’s a pansy about spiders. We bullied him and laughed. Then Kyle belched like a pig and everyone looked at him awkwardly. We cackled and left lol. Would definitely come again soon!

My wife took me to Robert at the Museum of Arts and Design for my birthday. Dinner includes complimentary museum admission, which is a nice perk.

Service was slow, though we were seated quickly. We ordered the Wagyu burger, salmon, and butternut squash soup. The salmon and soup were excellent, but the Wagyu burger was just average. The meal was reasonably priced at about $170 for two with tip, and we did not order drinks.

The views are great and elevate the experience. Dessert included a lava cake and small pudding cakes—the lava cake was good, the pudding cakes were forgettable.

Overall, I’d rate it a 7/10. Worth experiencing once for the setting, but I would not return.

What a stellar experience. Came here to celebrate my anniversary and the staff was SO SWEET! Not only did the chef kindly give out light nibbles, but our waiter Sean gave us an amazing anniversary treat. Plus, the food was a 10/10 (ordered the tuna tartare and beet salad). We’re definitely stopping by again soon!
