I visited Robersons and had the Chicken Alfredo, pinto beans, and okra. The service was outstanding, attentive, and very helpful. The restaurant fills up quickly, so arrive early to secure a table.
The Chicken Alfredo was creamy, flavorful, and generously portioned. But the real highlights were the okra and pinto beans. The okra was perfectly tender with excellent seasoning, and the pinto beans were hearty and savory.
Overall, Robersons offers exceptional Southern style dishes and excellent service making it a must visit. Highly recommended 85 B

Food was good. Chicken was good. Slaw was great.
Server kind of inattentive. Business was quite slow. I would return to give her another chance to be more attentive. I’m used to better service. It wasn’t horrible, just meh. I still left more than 20% tip. I normally tip a flat $10 but it wasn’t up to par on that. My meal was roughly $18 so 20+% was pretty good.
I’ll try them again on a different day and maybe it’ll be better service.

The food and service were fantastic. We had family visit from out of town and my daddy wanted some good southern cooking. Him and I both ordered the catfish and I had okra. 10/10 would definitely come here again. Very clean place too. 🙂

It’s that small town diner. No frills or thrills.
I like some things and others not so much. So let’s talk about it.
Bologna Sandwich: Thick rag Bologna, good taste, no weird seasonings. It’s griddle fried, not smoked. Comes on toasted texas style bread. It’s a good sandwich.
They use salted butter on the toast, the bologna is salty, and the cheese “food” is salted. So it’s a salty bite. You will need some veggies on it to help offset it.
Pintos: I won’t call them canned, but they weren’t fresh. You can tell by how starchy the soup it. Were they bad? No, but they weren’t great. No fatback or bacon to add flavor, just meh.
Seating: Max inside seating looks to about 46. So one big party could ruin someone’s supper plans. It’s not a big issue, just something to think about.
Overall: I liked it and will be back. I’ll just won’t get the beans again.
Pros: Friendly staff, fair prices, clean, plenty of choices.
Cons: Beans don’t taste homemade, limited seating

Great food! Can’t say anything bad. Atmosphere isn’t bad but it’s just nothing extra special inside but that’s not really why people go. If it’s a nice day though, it’s very enjoyable to eat outside

We stopped here because the reviews were so good, but two of the three of us are very disappointed. One ordered grilled chicken and enjoyed it. Two ordered steak tips which were mostly inedible without very strong jaws and sharp teeth. The carrots were good, the slaw had too much vinegar, the mashed potatoes and gravy were good, and the potatoes and onions were cooked to death. The service was friendly but slow. Money not well spent.

Stopped in for the first time. Our server was very friendly and always smiling (Keiko), food came out hot and delicious. Would definitely recommend the steak tips.
