Easy to find location and friendly staff. Food came out very fast and ready to go. Ordered baked beans, chili, and cornbread. The baked beans were in a tan sauce that was definitely on the sweet side, though still good. The chili was full of beef and beans, with plenty of tasty smokey flavor! Unfortunately, the cornbread didn’t taste like a whole lot and was very dry; fortunately, I had a cup of bbq sauce to wet it with!

The serving size for the platter was good. I liked the meat that I got there, but the sides weren’t great. A bit under seasoned and the cornbread was dry. However, pulled pork was good and the spicy hot link was solid, especially for the price. Note that there are only two picnic tables, so seating isn’t great.

The guy serving the food was rude and seems to hate his job. Food was a little dry but not bad. The coleslaw was good. Fifty cents for a 1/4 pickle. With employees like that, it’s a Good thing they’re on the side of the road and few choices are available.

Brisket is awesome and the pulled pork is very good! I love good BBQ and this is some of the best meat I’ve had. Gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the use of sweet baby rays sauce instead of homemade. Ribs are also on point!

Amazing homemade bbq with casual outdoor seating, perfect for lunch before hitting the slopes. We had the ribs and the chili (which was made with their own smoked meat) and both were stellar. Prices were also very reasonable. Overall a definite winner.

Excellent road-side trailer BBQ spot. The pulled pork was delicious- tender and moist without much fat. The flavor of the pork and chopped chicken was great…perfect amount of smokiness. Highly recommend.

Delicious even in January and dining outside! I had the chicken platter and the baked beans had bits of oh-so-good ham. The cornbread was delicious and coleslaw was perfectly done. Great little spot to grab some hearty food but be prepared to sit outside or grab-n-go!!

I moved out here from Southern Illinois and have been searching for a good down-home barbecue spot. It did take me a few months but thesecond i saw this place on the side of the road I knew it had to be good. This barbecue is by far the best I’ve had so far since moving out here a few months back. I would highly recommend stopping at this place not only is it great food but the small Mountain town it sits in is one of a kind and well worth seeing.
