Authentic Mexican dishes and flare for a reasonable price. When staying at Kihei, nice place to get a quick bite to eat. Kids had cheese quesadillas and adults had chicken fajitas and carne asada quesadilla.

I can’t rave enough about this place. We are such foodies and were looking for dinner options during our trip to Maui last week. I stumbled upon this place and I’m so glad I did because the food was super authentic and delicious. It was so good i started eating before taking a picture (which is so rare). I ordered the enchiladas but customized it to green peppers, onions and mole sauce and it was so so so good! My husband ordered the Chicken Alambres and he loved it as well. We asked for a hot sauce and not sure what our server gave us but it was oh so yummy. It was the perfect kick to our food. Our server as well as the overall service was excellent. They are attentive, flexible with your dishes and drinks and very warm and courteous. The place is simple, yet, inviting and the food choices are plenty for all ages and tastes. We also got the chocolate cake for dessert with was mouthwatering and very moist. If you’re in Maui and want flavorful, authentic Mexican food with awesome service, do try this place, won’t go wrong with any items on the menu. Loved it and will go here everytime we’re in Maui!

What can I say? They never disappoint. The food fresh and amazing. The service very wonderful and the atmosphere is so relaxed. One of my favorite places when I’m on island. sorry about the picture of the food. I couldn’t wait. I attacked it. before I could photograph it.

Great Mexican food in Maui! Being from California I wasn’t expecting much, but to my surprise it was very good and authentic! Good salsa and chips to start too!

Pros: Service was good and drinks were strong. Margaritas were reasonably priced. The lobster enchilada was tasty. However the mole chicken did not taste like much. No reservations needed when we were there. Warning: Chips and Salsa are not complimentary when they ask.

Cute inside and nice service. The food was ok. I had fajitas and my friends had alambres and burrito. There was not much meat in each meal. My shrimp fajitas only had 6 total shrimp. The tortillas got hard very quickly and no complimentary chips for the table. I know that’s an extra perk for most Mexican Restaurants but just another thing to note. I would go back here based on the food quality and prices. There’re better places on the island.

Authentic and delicious with a great staff and owner engagement. Small upgrades to the decor and adding TVs for sports has been a nice change. The TVs are not overwhelming however if you are going for a sports event it’s sure to be worth it.
Been coming here since it opened, maybe 2013?
Lived in Mexico before moving to Maui in 2004.
This is the only place we will eat Mexican food on Maui with the occasional exception of a food truck and one other newer Mexican restaurant, which is also excellent.
Photos are from 2024. We also get take out. Probably go to Roasted Chilies 2-3 times a month.
Friday night Opakapaka fish special is The cilantro rice!
Wednesdays are brisket taco days. Delicious! Have gone on a number of Wednesdays just for the brisket tacos.
We bring our friends and they are impressed. Our Oahu friends love it too! Maui may be smaller yet we have a few top quality restaurants where you can get great food at a reasonable price. And the staff is like family and they want you to feel welcome.
It’s also a great place to run into neighbors and friends because we all know the food it good and pricing is fair.
My fav is a top shelf skinny margarita with salt. It goes with everything!

I really wanted to enjoy Roasted Chillis, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The iced tea was genuinely awful, and to my surprise they didn’t even have fries available, which felt strange for a restaurant with their menu. The overall experience was so underwhelming that I ended up leaving and going to McDonald’s instead. I do feel bad leaving such a negative review, but the experience fell far below expectations and I was extremely disappointed. I hope this feedback helps improve things for future customers.

I stopped in to grab a bite to eat (ceviche) and it was delicious and highly recommend. The staff were great and had a warm feel. Tuesday are the best with the tacos and beer at a great price. Stop by if you want some good food.

This place was a hidden gem, beloved by locals. We returned for dinner after enjoying a delightful breakfast. We savored the Cangrejos Benedicts and Chilakillers with green salsa, a testament to the beauty of simple joys!
