My husband and I ate at the Roaster Cafe about two months ago. We are back visiting one of our kids and liked this place before, so we tried it again. We were not disappointed. We really like the restaurant. We had blueberry pancakes, bacon, hashbrowns, ham, eggs. It was very good.

Recommended! Holly, my server, was amazing! I had the all meat omelet with crisp hash browns, rye toast, and a piece of French toast with coffee. Everything was cooked to my specifications, and very tasty. The staff were perfectly attentive and provided an adequate amount of sassyness back at me. I will be back if in the area again.

Not what I think about this place . I will say I liked the food and the owner was as nice as possible. But the waitresses need an etiquette class or two . Yea kinda don’t want to assume the person ordering food on the other called you the B word and probably. Don’t want to slam the phone down on them before completing they’re order. This is a unique little Cafe. Great food! Great service! And the relics they have acquired on their walls make you want to get out on your seat and take a tour. I would highly recommended a visit to this little treasure.

Enjoyed the hometown feel and decor. Had the Big Breakfast and some coffee. The coffee was wonderful. The food was good, but not necessarily something to write home about. It took a bit longer to get the check than expected, but service was otherwise kind and attentive.

The breakfast was good. The pancakes are good. Our waitress was very nice & friendly. We got our food quickly. There is not a lot of parking and it seems to be about the only cafe in town now. Pay attention to the hours open.

If you visit Iowa town near Larwence, KS, don’t forget to stop by the Roasted Cafe. When you enter, completely different what is normally expected. Very charm, friendly owner and staff, food is good. A lot of native American items transported you to their era. Very interesting.

We bought the 1 biscuit and gravy, 2 eggs and hash browns. The biscuits were good the gravy was so spicy i just couldn’t eat it. The eggs were over cooked and hash browns were over cooked and tasted like grease. Sweet tea was great!! Pictures shows so much pepper!!
