I’ve given this place a few tries throughout the years and I’ve heard people say good things about it. Never got impressed. The last time I tried it the chicken cutlet was cold and there was nothing special about the vodka sauce. Which hey I don’t mind a mid sandwich but if I keep hearing it’s one of the best I expect out this world flavors. Also people aren’t paying mid prices. This is a pretty pricey establishment

Place is good an all but eh, I feel like the USED to be good bc i saw the reviews and the sandwiches looked AMAZING. I even showed the guy the picture of that one that’s really big with sauce dripping out here on google reviews; well needless to say this is the sandwich that I got – kind of pitiful if you ask me add on to the fact that their sandwiches are easily over 15 bucks and I just don’t really see the hype to tell you the truth but yeah it’s good I mean it’s a sandwich I’m not blown away by it or anything. This is an excellent alternative to a subway or jersey mikes but much more upscale and 10 times the flavor. I was blown away by my Roast beef melt sandwich. Everything about this sandwich made me want more. The meat was perfect and the bread was nice a toasty. These sandwiches practically melt in your mouth. Cant wait to try more of their delicious sandwich creations.

Great place, I’m surprised it isn’t more packed because the food is amazing. I got the country fried chicken sandwich and my wife got the all’s vodka sandwich both winners. Make sure to get extra roast fry sauce, definitely worth it.

REALLY BAD SERVICE! This is strictly for the Hicksville location as we have used other locations and never had this issue… We are a business that has several office meetings per year that we order lunch for around 12 to 18 ppl. I called the day before to place our order and told them I need the food here by 12:30pm. She read the order back to me and all was perfect. However the next day, we did not receive the food. At 12:36pm I called and asked where our food was as our presentation was to start at 1pm and wanted everyone to have their lunches. Was told “It’s on the way.” Roast Hicksville is 10 minutes from us. I waited 15 minutes and had to call again. The woman said she would check with the driver. I was left on hold for 7 minutes, hung up and called again only to be told the driver never picked up our order so the food was still there! So the first time I called they flat out lied to me. The food was 1 hour late and everything was cold and soggy!!! AND they forgot one of the sandwiches! When I called again to advise about the sandwich they vehemently told me it was in the bag but 3 of us checked and it was not. I asked for it to be made and delivered or 1 person would go w/o lunch. Guess what? THEY NEVER CAME WITH THE SANDWICH! So indeed one person went w/o lunch! Embarrassing for me as I am the one in charge of all this! And all I got was an “I’m sorry BUT… exclaiming it wasn’t their fault… It was the kitchen, It was the driver and I forgot the 3rd excuse. NEVER offered a refund or a discount… never offered anything! Over $250.00 for cold soggy food and all we got was an “Im sorry BUT…!” NEVER again!

I discovered this hard to find place by accident but what a wonderful accident. Sandwiches out of this world. This steak sandwich with carmalized onions I had was great. A bit salty a bit sweat but it hit the spot. Their menu is a bit short for my taste but they have specials that change everyday so it’s like a surprise box. Will return soon. Hungry

Didn’t get my full order and the food that did come was made wrong. Even the food that was made right wasnt good. Won’t be ordering here again and will be disputing on my credit card because I tried calling the restaurant but cant get an answer.

Not enough words to describe how much I love Roast Sandwhich House. I live in Queens, NY but my boyfriend lives in Long Island. Every time I go visit him (once a week or every other week), I always have him take me to Roast. It’s a routine now.
Everything on their menu is delicious. The grilled chicken panini is my usual go-to. I get it with their famous “fry sauce” instead. I don’t know what their secret is, but their sauce and food is incredible. Everything is fresh, clean and every bite is delicious.
I tried their breakfast menu too and as expected, it was amazing.
