Easily my favorite diner in the San Dimas area. It’s a traditional American diner right in the heart of downtown San Dimas on what looks like good old-fashioned Main Street America. Parking in this area is extremely easy, there is a parking lot in the rear, but we were able to find a free space right out front. Inside is also very large with many different seating areas and seating options. Our waitress was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out fast and at a fair price.

The menu is really large and filled with all sorts of great American diner classics. I had heard so much about their Chicken Fried Steak and overheard many other diners ordering it before me so that’s what I chose for my breakfast and I was extremely satisfied with it. It was a large cut of meat and it had great flavor. The eggs were also cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed them. I got a biscuit on the side, which was pretty small, but the flavor was really nice, I just wish it was larger in size.

Overall I would suggest to any diner fan in the area.

This restaurant food reminds me of one of those family Sundays at Grandma’s house. The flavor in food is amazing and very good quality. The place sends you back in time. They still do those old-school shakes (they are amazing, btw), but the outmost here is just very nice and clean. I truly recommend this place. It’s a blast from the past.

Got the chicken and waffles. Butter had a hair on it. Waffles tasted basic and the fried chicken was unbelievably bland. Other 2 people I was with bought burger meals, the fries and burger patties were obviously frozen. First and last time here. Left unsatisfied

Roady’s Restaurant is a quaint Mom n Pops diner in San Dimas CA. It’s a popular family-style diner offering a cozy atmosphere and modest American cuisine. The decor is pretty consistent with Old town’s history giving a 1950’s-60’s appearance and vibe.

I arrived on a Saturday morning as a first time customer, and sat at the bar. Their paper menu has most of the basic breakfast and lunch American cuisine. I ordered their classic French Toasts with strawberries, OJ and coffee. Food was banal flavor and taste. (Syrup and butter available upon request! My goodness!) Whipped cream looked like it was put in a hurry on my FT. Reg Coffee was okay. Server forgot my OJ; so I cannot comment on its quality. I waited patiently to see if she remembers but failed.

Roady’s very spacious with huge indoor seats as well as their front street patio. Prices seem fair for the area. Service was on point but tend to forget your order. I wanted to see if she’d remembers but did not. I abhor that. But I’m glad she remembered not to charge me on my bill. No tip was rendered.

Overall, it’s an old town’s diner with a hit or miss service. I’m reticent to recommend this diner spot.

I love having Roady’s just down the street. Anton and his team are the kind of people who make you feel at home the second you walk in. They’re genuinely kind, attentive, and proud of what they do.

The other day it was cold, I was tired, and I needed something cozy but filling (not quite soup-weather for me) so I stopped in for a beef dip. I grew up in an East L.A. family, so I’ve eaten my fair share at Philippe’s and my standards are high. Roady’s totally delivered. Soft bread, tender meat that practically melted in my mouth, and au jus that was exactly right.

It’s just a good, honest diner run by good people, and I’m really glad they’re part of the neighborhood.

The ladies were nice, the food was very cold and very awful. A prisoner would send it back. Way too expensive for what you get. A $50 check for two people with basic bacon and eggs.

Roady’s is like stepping back in time to what I picture the West would be. Friendly service, good food, and wood plank walls set the old west atmosphere. The biscuits and gravy are my friends favorite. I enjoy the corned beef hash or eggs Benedict with the homefries. So yummy!

We lived in San Dimas back in the 1990s. This was our favorite breakfast joint then and it still is. We always eat here when in town. Great American comfort food. Cozy, comfy and great food.
Clean restrooms are a plus.
