Was in the Duluth area coming home and stopped for some food and drinks. Went in and sat down, and walked up to the bar for some service, and the bartender didn’t even look at me! Was standing there for about 2 minutes, and then decided, nope! So we walked out, and went across the road to the Covered Wagon in which they had phenomenal service, food, and locals to talk with. Very glad I brought them business, and ended up being happy not being served by your bar!

Drove 1 1/2 hours to eat here due to good reviews. It was well worth it. Presentation was so pretty I didn’t want to eat it but the smell was so intoxicating couldn’t wait to try it and it was fantastic. Would not hesitate to take the drive there again. We went as a party of 6 on Friday night. Sign on the door asked for patience bc they were shorthanded. The service was still excellent and friendly. And, the food was outstanding even though we were all stuffed, desserts were ordered. They exceeded our expectations! To top it off, the bill was less than we expected! We will go back again! I hope everyone has as good an experience as we had.

This was in my opinion the best place to eat and have drinks with friends and family. The food was always superb along with the service and atmosphere. Unfortunately they closed their doors and not sure if they will be opening them again. We’re going to miss this place! We love you Don and Deb!

Very very friendly staff. They knew we were in a hurry and had the kids so they were so quick and helpful. Food was great. We definitely recommend. And the kids menu is great! Great prices and portions.

The food was great the service was awesome had a $1599 prime rib special but the rest of the pricing seem very high for the atmosphere. 4 * pricing for a 3 star restaurant Lobster was $51 I got a three and a half pound Lobster at Red Lobster for 57

We were passing thru and thought we would give this place a try. Wishing we would have kept going. My wife and I shared the steak and lobster combo. Ordered the steak medium and it was closer to well done; charred so bad on one side it had to be sawed up a bit to eat it. Steak had no seasoning what so ever, very disappointing. Lobster tail was good at least. When I see a baked potato served wrapped in tin foil and packets of sour cream, my expectations are very low. The meal came with soup and salad bar. The soup was good and the salad bar was asalad bar. A little of a turn off for me when they have signs saying because of rising food costs, you are permitted only 1 trip to the salad bar. Somehow, their food cost problem has become my problem. I found the signs very distasteful. For the price, I expected to be wowed with service and food. Instead, we left with the kind of experience you would expect from a fast food restaurant. If your 2 passing thru as we were, keep going.
