YES… RnB BBQ & Sausage is now open on Saturdays. Get the word out pronto! Award winning BBQ and home made sausage, all wood smoked grilled. All made with homemade sauces and rubs. All sooo darn delicious!!

I heard about this place before but never was able to get there on Thursday or Friday. If you see the poster sandwich board sign on the Grass Valley Highway Road sidewalk; they’re open for business. I saw it and made a U turn to see if they were indeed open. Yes they were! They’re in the process in updating the painted and print signs with the Saturday hours. Thursday-Saturday 11:30am – 5:30pm.

Anyways, upon walking in, we were greeted by John, the owner. Unfortunately being it was less than two hours before closing, he ran out of tri tip and baby back ribs. Totally understandable, you snooze you lose. It’s slow smoked genuine BBQ not fast food, when they run out, they run out. So we settled on the chicken special of smoked chicken quarter with chili and corn bread muffin $12.95. The chili and muffin were house made as well. The chili was gorgeous looking and tasted just as good as it looked. It had pieces of smoked meat. The chicken was moist and tender, smoked giving it a smoky and slight crackly skin. Mmm. It was served with a container of BBQ sauce on the side. I could drink that sauce, it was that delicious. Plus great price point on the plate. Hubs got a brisket sandwich $17.95. The bread was top notch. The brisket was ohhh so perfectly, classical tender. No knife needed. Smoked sweet and meaty flavors. Beautiful grain.

John gave us samples of chicken garlic sausage and blackberry cobbler. Both house-made by him. Impressive that most everything g is house made. I’m not a fan of sausages but this may convert me. It wasn’t overpowering and flavors are subtly prominent. Great texture too, not thick dense nor milly soft. Being honest. I’m not a fan of blackberry desserts due to those pesky seeds. But the cobbler didn’t baked the blackberry all the way down, instead it kept it more whole than syrupy so considerably less seed release but still with the sweet blackberry flavor. The top crust was a moist cake. It all held well and absolutely yummers.

The building from the outside doesn’t look like much. It looks like an industrial building. The tell tale sign is the large BBQ smoker in front of the building. I wasn’t expecting much when I walked in. But the inside was pleasant. Super clean, modern. Comfortable. It had some seating but not a lot. There were a few picnic tables outside as well.

What a great BBQ, we had pulled pork, sausage, ribs, and brisket. For sides we had Mac and cheese with brisket, macaroni salad, jalapeño corn and baked beans, garlic bread and jalapeño corn bread. Everything was really good and flavorful. The owner gave us stuff jalapeños with smoked bacon and WOW!!! juicy and delicious. He had some much passion and treats you with respect he really makes you feel like family. Definitely will be coming back.

Had food delivered. Got a pulled pork sandwich & my co-worker got a sausage sandwich. So delicious! Definitely recommend. We wanted to try the brisket Mac & cheese but it wasn’t available. That will be next time!

Baby back ribs were pretty good and so was the baked beans. A hole in the wall place. Only open Thursday and Fridays!!! It is mainly a takeout place. I think they have seating for 4 to 6 people. I need to try other items, the food is great.

Ran by a father and daughter, this place couldn’t be better!

The food was some of the best bbq I’ve had.

A little off the beaten path in North Auburn but well worth it!

This is hands down one of the best BBQ restaurants I’ve ever had. The tri-tip was perfectly done not too much Smoke and almost fell apart in your mouth. You can’t go wrong ordering anything there. The owner John is very personable And you can tell that he’s passionate about what he does Because it shows in the quality of the food for sure!

These guys have AMAZING bbq and sides!! Auburn needs good BBQ and a business that is open on the weekends too, hopefully this will change someday as the hours are very limited now. I can’t imagine they wouldn’t kill it with a weekend opening!!

It was my first time stopping here,I live right across 49 from it,,I will say this,it’s contagious,,the food is second to none,,I enjoyed the Texas “AF” SAMMY,,i do believe it is the perfect combination, brisket,jalapeño sausage combination, the service is amazing,but please don’t forget the smoked brisket mack n cheese,,,amazing food and service. 15 out of 10,… thank you

Haven’t written a review in a while. Didn’t know this place was real because I couldn’t see building. FYI in back of parking lot.
Apparently only open THURSDAY and FRIDAY.
Saw a dancing pig out with sign by main road. Got pulled pork sandwich and secret side item, Pulled pork Mac and cheese. Food is delicious. BBQ sticky. Wish I took a picture but ate it before I thought of it.
Come try. Leave a name for raffle. I’m gonna try ribs next time

I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Walked through the menu with me as it was my first time. I ended up getting the pulled pork sandwich, jalapeño sausage and potato salad. Really really good food!
